I am from Germany, from the town Solingen near Cologne, which might be known in the world because of its quality knifes.

Beginning with Star Wars, I am SF- and Fantasy-Fan for more than more than 25 years. Although I am writing mostly about own charakters and worlds, I always found my way back to fan fiction for Elfquest, Battlestar Galactica (old Series) and Star Wars. I write about Stargate Atlantis since 2007. A few weeks ago, Avatar - the last airbender was added.

In writing I was impressed by the books of Ursula K. Le Guin, Anne Mc Caffrey, MarionZimmer-Bradley and Mercedes Lackey. I have published my stories in anthologies and fanzines for about 20 years, but I also saw the dream of every author come true: In the 1990ties my books "Katzenspuren" and "Das magische Erbe" were published by one of the bigger German editors.

But for the moment I am content to write fanfiction. Most of them are written in German, but some stories are in english now, especially the Avatar-Stories. It is easy to find out which story is in which languge - the language of the description will indicate it.

Update 2015: After a long pause and the apathy following the death of my mother, I am back with new Stories and a new Crush - Doctor Who.

Ich stamme aus Deutschland, aus der Stadt Solingen in der Nähe von Köln, die durch ihre hochwertigen Messer auch in der Welt bekannt ist.

Schon seit mehr als 25 Jahren bin ich Fantasy und Science Fiction Fan, angefangen hat alles mit Star Wars. Auch wenn ich sehr schnell eigene Universen und Charaktere erfand, so kehrte ich doch immer wieder zur Fan Fiction zurück, sei es nun um die ein oder andere Elfquest, Star Wars oder Battlestar Galactica (alte Serie) zu schreiben. Seit Anfang 2007 widme ich mich ausgiebig der Serie Stargate Atlantis und vor ein paar Wochen kam Avatar - The Last Airbender dazu.

Geprägt wurde ich in meinem Schreibstil vor allem von den Autorinnen um Ursula K. L. Guin, Anne McCaffrey, Marion Zimmer-Bradley und Mercedes Lackey. Ich veröffentliche seit ungefähr 20 Jahren in Fanzines und Anthologien. Ich konnte mir aber auch den Traum eines jeden Autors erfüllen: In den 90ger Jahren erschienen bei einem deutschen Verlag aber auch zwei Romane: "Katzenspuren" und "Das magische Erbe".

Aber im Moment bin ich zufrieden damit, Fanfiction zu schreiben. Das meiste davon ist auf Deutsch, aber einige Geschichten sind nun auch auf Englisch, im Besonderen die Avatar-Stories. Es ist leicht herauszufinden, welche Geschichte in welcher Sprache ist - die Sprache in der die Beschreibung ist, deutet darauf hin.

Update 2015: Nach einer langen Pause, auch bewirkt durch die Apathie, die dem Tod meiner Mutter folgte, komme ich jetzt mit neuen Geschichten und einer neuen Leidenschaft zurück - Doctor Who!
