![]() Author has written 13 stories for Tin Man, Harry Potter, and Misc. Movies. Oh dear, it has been a while, hasn't it? My Internet, I am sad to say, has been all over the place, so trying to catch it on a good day when I didn't have research to do (or missed an episode of Horizon or something) has been nigh on impossible. But I am proud to state that my all-round amazing (if slightly geeky) dad stuck a screw driver into the wifi box, jiggled things about a bit and sorted it out for me. His timing is equally good and bad. Good because I can finally reread the last two chapters of Of Men and Monsters so I can work out where the plotline is at and carry on writing, bad because Not only am I in the middle of an OMG Hannibal!! phase, but I've also, in despair of ever being able to continue OMaM have just started a new project that's been kicking around in the back of my head for a while. So. I've got a couple of friends coming over tomorow night and we're going to do a little movie marathon of all the Hannibal movies, so I can hopefully get that out of my system. Seriously, if you haven't seen those films, WATCH THEM. They are amazing. There's Hannibal Rising (chronologically the first, but the latest release of the movies), Manhunter and Red Dragon (respectfully the older and newer versions of the second book), The Silence of the Lambs (The third) and Hannibal (the last in the series). The only thing I'd say is that if you're interested in reading the books (which you should be) watch the movies first. They are bloody spectacular films, but Hannibal in particular just doesn't quite compare. Trust me when I say that the ending in the book is way, way better. Although apparently unsuitable for an American audience. LOL. You'll know what I mean. Oh yeahand in case you don't know, these films/books are about a guy who eats people. Hannibal the cannibal. Brilliant. Anyway, I realised that I'd only read one of the books, so since my mum has all of them I've temporarily nicked them. But I spend two hours on the bus everyday, so I should get through them pretty fast without impairing my 'open time' so don't worry, my sudden nut-phase won't stop me from writing. Talking of, what do you guys think of a Harry/Draco that I've got in the works? There's minor SSOFC (cos the guy needs someone to love and this time it just happened to be a woman I picked - I can change it to a guy if you want) I'm bashing Dumbledore again, although it's not as bad as it could be. Other than that, there's RLNT HGRW GWBZ... I dunno, I'm toying with ideas at the moment. If you have any preferences let me know. Please vote in my poll so I have some idea. And finally, I have some fun things planned for my OMaM boys. I don't have the next chapter, because I forgot to save the last chapter onto my computer, just uploaded it, but I have the one and a bit after it so those will all be coming soon. I'm sorry for the wait. Much love, Also, the M version of the chapter 10 (part 11, called 'Of Bogeymen and Hogsmeade') of 'Of Men and Monsters' can be found here: http:///ch10.htm |
