Been having love affair with TFs for years and reading fics for a while but it was some time before I wrote anything myself. Now writing is just something I love doing.

I'm trying to get back to posting more on Ffnet. I've been away role playing on various sites, which is great fun and a fantastic means of character development, and also writing on LJ. If you feel like befriending me on there, I'm always more than happy to have new people to talk to and learn from.

It's G1 universe has had nearly all my thoughts. I have many ideas and images in my head. These include pre and post war Cyberton, theories about origins and Cybertronian politics, and takes on some characters or their backgrounds which may be from an unusual perspective. I like in depth characterization, exploring interactions, change, angst and conflict and tackling the different and bizarre. I love cross factional and unusual pairings and with the more “regular” pairings I like to throw a spanner in the works and present a few challenges. It all makes for good drama :-)

I like some of the classic fanon pairings, ie Jazz/Prowl, Starscream/Skyfire, Skywarp/TC, Hound/Mirage and Inferno/Red Alert etc etc in their usual set ups, and there are so many fantastic fics out there. I tend to explore some more unusual pairings, and most of them are in the context of the AU in the link above.

Any mistakes, comments, things people like, love, hate, are annoyed by, are moved by, think are ridiculous, think are original etc. happy to hear views even if negative. I love talking about TF’s! So happy to hear from anyone any time!

Finally, it’ was quite daunting starting out in this fandom, and continues to be so at times. So I really and truly thank all those who’ve given me help and encouragement, especially Nightwind, Ladydragon2, Buddhabread and Illusion 224 in the early days and then, more recetly, Artemis, Ultharkitty and Naboru Narluin. All write amazing fics, too, which are well worth checking out.

Autobots: Mirage, Moonracer, Smokescreen, Cliffjumper, Grapple, Beachcomber, Blades, First Aid, Sandstorm, Springer.

AND INSECTICONS !!! Love - and they are neither.

Also like: Rumble, Thundercracker, Sunstreaker, Hound, Bumblebee, Trailbreaker, Silverbolt, Blurr

Interesting rather than likeable: Alita 1, Dirge, Soundwave, Onslaught, Ratchet, Wheeljack, Perceptor, Hook.

Don’t that much like: Galvatron, Cyclonus, Thrust , Ironhide, Motormaster, Powerglide, Cosmos

Get annoyed sometimes by: Optimus Prime, Gears, Prowl, Skyfire, Blitzwing, Seaspray, Blaster, Tracks, Slingshot, Spike and Chip Chase

Pretty indifferent to everyone else!

Favourite Pairings: Lots! For different reasons. Especially, though: Mirage x seekers (especially Skywarp), Thundercracker x Sunstreaker, Starscream x Shrapnel, Smokescreen x Swindle, Vortex x Swindle, Scavenger x Swindle, Rumble x Bumblebee, Grapple x Scrapper, Blades x First Aid, Octane x Moonracer, To name a few!!

Stories I am working on:

Decadence and Deliverance - backgrounds of Mirage and Skywarp, respectively

Forbidden Fantasies: In the FF AU, a long story which I churned out and is too long, garbled and confused. So it's undergoing quite a radical rewrite.

Prisoner In the FF AU. prequel, Mirage's capture by Starscream

Dangerous Dreams: Sequel to Forbidden F's. In my head, totally. Not a word in print yet.

Substitute: Which may or may not get called that. Swindle gets replaced within the Combaticons by First aid. with many implications and side stories.

Incecticons: various stories about their origins and adventures.

You know you’re writing too much TF fanfiction when:

You say things like “Oh Primus,” or “it’s past my recharge time,” or “would you like a glass of high grade?” or “I’ll be with you in a microsecond”as a matter of ordinary day to day conversation

You routinely talk to your car on the way to work and comment on other smexy vehicles and planes passing overhead

When you get pulled up for speeding you say to the cop “don’t look at me – talk to my car!”

You also berate your car for getting self inflicted dints and dings when reversing into posts etc

You eye your small kitchen appliances with mistrust and suspicion

You own a Decepticat

And when:

A whole bookcase is devoted to research materials ie books, comic, DVD’s movies etc

You own a Transformers bedspread and pillowcases

You hide your TF toys when people come around with kids so the kids won’t traumatize them

Your wardrobe is all the colours of your favourite TF’s

Your sex toys are the colour of your favourite TF’s

Your friends eye all of the above sadly and shake their heads ... but are a little cheered when you explain that obsessions are fun ...
