I'm a mom in the Pacific Northwest. I have a background in birth, childbirth education, doula work, women's studies. I write when the story bug bites. Most of my work is not archived on fanfiction.net because it doesn't meet the maturity guidelines. ;)

I'm jenrose on and Archive of Our Own, and jenrose1 on LiveJournal. I respond more to feedback left there, because it is far easier for me to keep track of who I've replied to and who I haven't. If you expect a response, give feedback there. I'm also on Tumblr at jenroses.

I have long, finished novels and shorter pieces done in both the X-files and Doctor Who fandoms. My Doctor Who stuff is archived under Jenrose at . I have longer unfinished works not yet published in the Stargate and JAG fandoms, but make no guarantees about when or if they will be finished. I'm also working on an original novel.

My main project at the moment is in the Check, Please! fandom at AO3, and I just finished a long work in the Merlin fandom, also posted there as part of the After Camlann Big Bang.

I've recently started writing Yuri!!! on Ice fic on AO3, and have written 3 finished stories and one that's almost done there as of January 2017.

I do not post NC-17 material here. It's against the guidelines, and I won't do it. Don't argue with me about it, I really don't care to debate it.

I don't respond well to nagging. If you want me to write faster, be patient, tell me to take my time. It's just the way I swing.

I read every feedback, and try to respond to specific questions. I don't always see inbox things.

A couple people have asked... I had my baby January 2, 2012. He's five now and awesome.

I'm probably not ever going to finish Therapy, I'm too pissed at the Castle writers to care. But I finished a different fic after 10 years, so who knows? It left off at a reasonable enough leaving off place.
