I'm really sorry I still haven't changed the name of my Uglies fanfiction, even though I said I would in the name! By the way, I changed my name, I used to be Shay-wa. If you care, I'm a girl, mid-teens, who lives somewhere in the Northeastern United States. That's all the information you're gonna get, please don't stalk me!

1. I love reading, writing, and reviewing things I've read.

2.I'm obsessed with the music of Regina Spektor and Andrew Bird

3. I think that Firefly, His Dark Materials, and the Book Thief are the greatest things there are, were and ever will be.

4. I am a huge Joss Whedon fan. I just re-watched Firefly and I'm absolutely obsessed with it at the moment. (Wash rules!)

5. I'm absolutely insane!

I changed my profile picture yet again. I'm sure you could guess, but that's a picture of Joss Whedon. And, by the way, I'm not Joss Whedon. (Last time I checked, Joss wasn't a teenage girl, and I definitely don't think I can write as well as he does, but I just felt I should clarify.) Oh, how I wish I was.

Favorites:

Books: I don't know where to start. The Book Thief, His Dark Materials, Life of Pi, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, the Once and Future King, and so many more.

TV Shows: Firefly (!!!!!), Dollhouse, Buffy, Spaced, Sherlock (the new-ish BBC show with Benedict Cumberbatch), Castle (kind of), Fringe, Flight of the Conchords, and a lot of other things. My sister keeps telling me Community is the greatest show ever, so I'll have to start watching that. I really want to like Dr. Who, because it's got so much potential and I love David Tenant, but so far I don't really like it that much. At times I kind of hate it. (WHAT THE HECK IS WITH THE DALEKS?!?!?!) But I haven't gotten to the point where Steven Moffat took over as head writer, and I'm sure that'll make it much better. The one episode I truly, truly loved was 'Blink,' which was written by Steve Moffat. (That turned out much longer than I intended it to be)

Movies: Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead (the Spaced ones), Mirrormask, Sweeny Todd, Once, Slumdog Millionare, and Khuda Gawah (I'm a bit of a Bollywood fan).

Music: I already mentioned Regina Spektor and Andrew Bird, they're my favorites. I also like Ingrid Michaelson, Rufus Wainwright, Lykke Li, Metric, Flight of the Conchords, Vampire Weekend, Muse, and lots of other things. I'm currently falling in love with a Chinese band called A Niu, which, according to my computer's translator, means "Arab League cow," but the translator's been wrong before. (Though "niu" does mean cow)

Update: I have started watching Community and I LOVE it! It's the greatest show on TV and the 2nd best show ever (The first being Firefly). "I'm gonna eat space paninis with black Hitler and there's nothing you can do about it!" Also, I looked up A Niu, and it turns out that it's not a Chinese band but a Malaysian singer, and A Niu is his nickname. I still don't understand where my computer got "Arab League," though.

I'm considering writing a post-BDM Wash Firefly fanfic, possibly a Dr. Who crossover because I have a problem and the only solution I can come up with is a Sonic Screwdriver. If you have any thoughts on this or whether I should continue "The Pilot," I would love to hear them; please message me!

9/17/11-Today was my birthday and my parents got me a "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal" shirt. I love my parents.
