Author has written 3 stories for Twilight.

I'm Alicorn. My only fanfiction is the Twilight fic "Luminosity", its sequel "Radiance", and the companion short story collection "Flashes", below. It is not necessary for the enjoyment of the fic that you have read, or enjoyed, the original Twilight books: I supply in the story all of the supporting details that will be necessary, and the writing differences are significant. (If you hate vampires, well, sorry, there are still vampires.) It is mirrored on its own website (), which includes an RSS feed, a prettier and more thematic site layout, and reduced user interface horribleness. If you want to leave reviews, though, do it here even if you read the story on the other site. You can also discuss it with other fans here (/r/discussion/lw/3jt/luminosity_twilight_fanfic_discussion_thread_3/); I'll answer questions posed in that thread, and pretty quickly, too. Someone has made a TV Tropes page (/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Fanfic/Luminosity) for Luminosity. I consider it tacky to edit wiki entries on my own things, but would greatly appreciate my readers having at it and filling it out a bit more. Someone else (fanfiction.net/u/2510157/Moggo) is working on a Portuguese translation of the story (fanfiction.net/s/7454127/1/Luminosidade). (No one has ever followed through on volunteering to translate something of mine before, so I'm very pleased about this!)

Luminosity is similar to "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality" (fanfiction.net/s/5782108/1/Harry_Potter_and_the_Methods_of_Rationality) in that the most significant difference is to the protagonist's rationality skills: Luminosity's Bella is a rational, smart self-knowledge junkie who wants to know what is going on in her brain. The story hugs canon pretty closely to start except in terms of inner monologue until chapter 4, and then it's unrecognizable. Elspeth, the narrator of "Radiance", is a semi-original character with her own approach to the theme. The Flashes will be mostly in third person and cover a wide variety of characters.

If you enjoy Luminosity, you may also like other stuff I am up to (/). If you enjoy Bella and/or Elspeth's approach to self-knowledge and want to know more about it, you may also like the sequence of blog posts (/lw/1xh/living_luminously/) (nonfiction) that I wrote on the subject.

Current Project: Elcenia (/), a non-fanfic fantasy series in progress.

Edit: stripped my links. Have manually inserted URLs, with the headers amputated because is evil enough to strip anything that looks too much like a URL.

Flashes reviews
A series of short stories taking place in the same fanonverse as Luminosity and Radiance. Some of them will be comprehensible without having read the novels. Some won't. I recommend starting with the novels.

Radiance reviews
Sequel to "Luminosity", narrated by Elspeth. You do not need to have read canon Twilight, but you will be very confused if you haven't read Luminosity.

Luminosity reviews
Luminosity is an AU reworking of the Twilight story where Bella is a rational self-knowledge junkie. Inspired by "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality". Requires no knowledge of or affection for Twilight canon.
