Bio: I am an unapologetic Christian conservative. I am also an Air Force brat (for those of you who don't know, an Air Force, Army, Navy, or Marine Corps brat is someone whose parents belonged to that service). My father was a C-130 navigator for 20 years. He retired on 1 May 2004. My mother also served in the Air Force for 12 years before I was born. I recently graduated Air Force pilot training and am an air refueling tanker pilot. I've wanted to be a pilot since I was 12 years old and I earned my Private Pilot Certificate in the summer of 2014. I am a NASCAR fan (no particular driver, just anyone in a Ford), a fan of auto racing in general, and a fan of the Seattle Mariners and the Seattle Seahawks. I am certainly not the best writer on this site, as I am more analytical by nature, but I like to think that I am improving. I don't write very often, but when I do, it's because I've hit on some major inspiration and I can't get the plot bunny out of my head. My love for God, my country, and the United States Air Force are a major part of who I am and will not always, but often, be reflected in my writing. Favorite TV Shows (in no particular order and not an exhaustive list): The O'Reilly Factor, Huckabee, The Five, Legends and Lies, Flying Wild Alaska, Deadliest Catch, American Pickers, Fast 'N' Loud, Sons of Guns, Garfield and Friends, Dual Survival, Mythbusters, Pawn Stars, Top Gear (USA), Penguins of Madagascar, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Star Trek, MASH, Hogan's Heroes, The Andy Griffith Show, and I Love Lucy. Favorite Quotes from Film, TV, etc. (and once more, in no particular order and not an exhaustive list): J.T. Hawkins Jr.: You act like you gonna miss before you even kick the ball. See, we're gonna have to change your whole kicking philosophy. Now see, you kick it wide left, or wide right, but that ain't gonna get you home. The ball has got to go through the middle. David Childers: I know, coach. J.T. Hawkins Jr.: No, no, no. You don't. Now what does Scripture say about this? Scripture says wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction. And many that be there find it. Now to us; that's wide left, and wide right. But narrow is the gate and straight is the way that leads to life, and few that be there find it. Anybody can kick it wide left and wide right. My momma can kick it wide left and wide right. But that ain't gonna get you home. It don't have to look pretty. It don't have to look smooth. It can look like a dying duck. But the ball has got to go through the middle. Now David, you gonna have to choose the narrow way. Cause that's the only path where you gonna get your reward.--Facing the Giants Bill O'Reilly: And that is it for us tonight. Please check out the Fox News Factor website, different from . Also, we would like you to spot off about the Factor from ANYwhere in the word. oreilly@, oreilly@. Name and town, name and town, name and town if you wish to opine. I'm Bill O'Reilly, please always remember that the spin stops right here, because we're definitely looking out for you.--The O'Reilly Factor Jim Tweto: I call it the crash site 'cause, a couple, three years ago I was flying a Cub up here and the winds were real gusty. Wind got underneath my tail, and uh, I flipped the Cub over. I got injured a little bit. Eh, I broke my neck.--Flying Wild Alaska Richard Rawlings: Get you some of that!--Fast 'N' Loud Kris Ford: It's a cannon!--Sons of Guns Mike Wolfe: We make a living telling the history of America... once piece at a time.--American Pickers Skipper: Well let's just say, next time I find myself caught in the swirling currents of raw sewage, I hope that Marlene is at my side. Marlene: Aww! That's so sweet!...I think.--Penguins of Madagascar Garfield: I'm coming Odie! I don't know why! But I am!--Garfield and Friends Adam Savage: I reject your reality, and substitute my own!--Mythbusters Edgar Hansen: I'm Edgar Hansen, welcome to my hell.--Deadliest Catch President James Marshall: Get off my plane!--Air Force One Pumbaa: She's gonna eat me!--The Lion King Bolt: Do I need it? It's five o'clock in New York City, and this is The Five.--The Five Harry Hogge: No, no, he didn't slam you, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you... he *rubbed* you. And rubbin, son, is racin'.--Days of Thunder Nick Wilde or Judy Hopps: It's called a hustle, sweetheart.--Zootopia Jack Ryan: "Ryan, some things in here don't react well to bullets." Yeah, like me. I don't react well to bullets.--The Hunt for Red October Mike Eruzione: Mike Eruzione! Winthrop, Massachusetts! Herb Brooks: Who do you play for? Mike Eruzione: I play...for the United States of America!--Miracle Marko Ramius: Hey, Ryan, be careful what you shoot at, hmm? Most things in here don't react too well to bullets. Jack Ryan: Right.--The Hunt for Red October Al Michaels: Five seconds left in the game! Do you believe in miracles?! Yes!--Miracle Jack Ryan: *I* have to be careful what *I* shoot at?!--The Hunt for Red October Chuck Yeager: Hey, Ridley, ya got any Beeman's? Jack Ridley: Yeah, I think I got me a stick. Chuck Yeager: Loan me some, will ya? I'll pay ya back later. Jack Ridley: Fair enough.--The Right Stuff Profile Statements (if any of these statements apply to you, copy and paste them into your profile and add your name): If you believe the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, unchanging, completely true Word of God, copy this into your profile. I'm pro-life and pro-Biblical marriage. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Favorite Inspirational Quotes: "Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right.--President Abraham Lincoln "Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged."--President Ronald Reagan "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars.--President George Washington “It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the Providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor.”--President George Washington “Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of [impressionable] structure [that is, on the minds of students] , reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”--President George Washington “The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were…the general principles of Christianity.”--President John Adams “Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers; and it is the duty-as well as the privilege and interest-of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.”--John Jay, First Chief Justice of the Supreme Court “As nations cannot be rewarded or punished in the next world, they must be in this. By an inevitable chain of causes and effects, Providence punishes national sins by national calamities.”--George Mason, "The Father of the Bill of Rights" and member of the Constitutional Convention “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just - that His justice cannot sleep forever.”--President Thomas Jefferson “Is it not that in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior? That it forms a leading event in the progress of the gospel dispensation? Is it not that the Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer’s mission upon earth? That it laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity?”--President John Quincy Adams "For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return."--Unknown, but often attributed to Leondardo da Vinci "If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself."--Ferdinand Porsche "I believe God is managing affairs and that He doesn't need any advice from me. With God in charge, I believe everything will work out for the best in the end. So what is there to worry about?"--Henry Ford |
