![]() Author has written 7 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, White Collar, Flash, Trollhunters, and Alice in Wonderland. Two roads diverged in a tulgey wood Salutations, greetings, and welcome! I tumbled into fanfiction I used to have more of a profile written, but it was really out-of-date, so I took it down. Trying to describe what I enjoy about fandom is... really multi-layered. If I find the words for it someday, I'll put them here. Fandoms I actively follow/are near-and-dear enough to my heart that to not include them feels like an omission, even if I haven't read any works in them in forever: The Flash, White Collar, Merlin, Spider-Man, Sherlock, Avengers, Daredevil, Young Justice, Doctor Who, Rurouni Kenshin, Stargate SG-1, Fullmetal Alchemist, Danny Phantom, Detective Conan, Smallville. I am on tumblr now! You can follow me, or you can just say "hi," drop an anonymous ask, lurk in the background silently - whatever floats your boat. I have also made a few fanvids. I would say I am inordinately pleased with how my first one came out (Don't Stop Me Now), except in a rare moment of boastfulness I'll admit I don't think there's anything inordinate about my level of pride in this work. Barry Allen - "Don't Stop Me Now" (Queen) The idea for this was eating my brain. Seriously, the need to vid this was so strong I went out and learned how to vid for the express purpose of making this thing. If you are familiar with the song, you know why this had to be done. If you are not familiar with the song, did you know that it has been scientifically demonstrated to be the Most Feel-Good Song of all time? Go check it out! :D The Flash - "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" (Queen) In which everybody hugs everybody else :D Eobard Thawne - "Mack the Knife" (Bobby Darin) Look who's back in town! Story Status: Relative Truth: 14-Nov-2015 Really more of a hiatus on writing, no longer actively working on it since I'm busy in the Flash fandom, but I haven't discarded it. I also haven't watched the last season yet; I'm hoping that doing so will invigorate my desire to write for White Collar, so I am saving those episodes for a time when I would have the free time to spare for writing as well as watching. 25-May-2015 In Progress I'm sticking to my plan to complete it entirely before posting again. One more chapter to write, and an epilogue! (plus whatever editing needs doing). Tentatively suggesting I could have it done by the end of the summer... (it looks like plenty of time on a calendar, but I know my own track record) Four o'clock in the Afternoon: 26-Feb-2015. Marked 'In Progress' but really on indefinite hiatus. I had some thought to playing around with the idea of a caucus race for the next Fuhrer, Wonderland-style, but it's fallen by the wayside Inertia: 14-Nov-2015 I have been updating closer to once a month than once every two weeks, but now that the show is back on the air, that might become a reasonable expectation again. Still working on 'More Impossible Things,' a chaptered Merlin x-over, yet to be published. (Also an as-of-yet unnamed Parkwest pigeon-racing magic realism femslash au. yup. And if you've read 'Relative Truth,' the fact that I love ficcing ornithology any way I can will not surprise you) 26-Feb-2015 Wheeeee, having fun with this! More to come, updates irregularly but I try not to let it run more than two to three weeks. (I'm open to prompts, but I can't guarantee fills). Follow-up to 'Impossible Things' coming someday; that will take a bit more time and there's other WIP one-shots of varying levels of completion in my queue that I'll get to first. |
