There isn't really a difference between this one and the collector's edition one besides the facts that it's cheaper, you don't get the bonus game or the walk through and the original novel isn't included.

This one has the bonus game, the original novel by Gaston Leroux, and a walk through in the game. But it's pricier. Btw, the bonus game is more of a bonus area. It's just the phantom's lair and a shrine to Christine, and it's kinda short, from what I can remember. It's been awhile since I last played the game the whole way through, though, so I may be wrong.

But, you don't have to play the game to be able to enjoy it! You can always get on youtube and find a play-through/walk-through. I do that a lot when I'm bored. I've always loved to watch people play video games! Creepy, right? Ha-ha!.
