All right, little doggies, this is where we part. In the last year or two I've really struggled with keeping up with fictionpress.com and the reason for that is because I'm constantly torn between finishing the 'fan work' that I started and getting really serious about being an actual published author. Well, the fight is over. I can't put in the amount of hours putting together 5,000 words for a chapter without getting paid.

If you aren't an author you don't understand the crazy amount of time that goes into something like that, the research, the editing, the re-writes (the running of the head into the wall over and over again). I can't do this for free anymore, I have to monetize what I do, which means original work that will head towards being picked up by a publisher.

That isn't to say that the site will be completely dead, I don't like leaving things unfinished and I really dig my Fallout 4 YA post-apocalyptic Vault 75 story and I have fantastic ideas for it. But I wouldn't hold your breath.

I can't believe I've had this stupid thing for this long, I'm almost embarrassed. So, thank you for your support, thank you for your comments, that's the only thing that keeps an author going - seeing that at least ONE person wants to know what happens next. Look for me in the published world.
