![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Hi! Welcome to my profile! I'm just an ordinary girl living an extraordinary life in all the fantasy worlds that become a part of my life as I read them. Yep! You guessed right! I love to read. My friend does tell me all the time that I constantly take the longer route to get to a point. But i digress. I love to read and am pretty much dead to the world once i open a book. It calms me down like nothing else does. Some random facts about me: I love the colour red and spicy food. I would probably be sorted into Hufflepuff in Hogwarts. I love dogs and I adore daisies. I love the smell of apples in shampoos and the smell of rain and flowers in nature. I love night-time more than day-time. I love collecting key-chains and the feel of satin. I prefer being cold to feeling hot. I love animated movies cause i will never be too old for them! I would love to one day visit Italy. I have a long list of favourite books. The Harry Potter series is my all-time favourite!! Nothing compares to it in my mind. I also love the Percy Jackson series. P G Wodehouse is another author who is a genius. I'm also a huge fan of the works of Oscar Wilde, Jame Austen and Alexander Dumas. I have a long list of classics that I love. Dan Brown's works always leaves me amazed and I immensely enjoy his books. I could go on and on about each and every book I've read and how each book was delight. Ooh I forgot to mention Darren Shan. I love Darren Shan. I don't like a lot of TV shows cause i frankly don't watch TV (is that shocking?) But the show i do look forward to every week is Castle. I'm also a huge Friends fan. The few movies I love are Harry Potter, Titanic, Matrix, Tangled, Up, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lion King and I can't think of anything more right now. The three most important things in my life are books, music and food. The people who have inspired me :
J K Rowling. She turned her failures and sorrows into strength and used it to make her dream come true. She wrote a beautiful story that inspired millions and still remains humble and kind and grateful for her fortune. She created a new world which was always home. And she showed that it's OK for a girl to be smart and strong and independent rather than just thin and pretty. Hermione. She never compromised her personality no matter what, even for the man she loved. She remained true to herself and her beliefs and was loyal and brave till the end. She was flawed but that just made her a better role-model. Luna Lovegood. She showed me that it was important what I thought of myself than what others thought of me. Kate Beckett. She is always strong and independent. She doesn't flinch no matter what happens and she uses her loss to drive her and bring justice to the wronged. P G Wodehouse. He taught me how to look for humour in everything in life. Stephen Fry. I may not know much about him but what i do know is enough to inspire me. His love for words is as inspiring as his talent with them. I could listen to him talk all day because he never speaks with finesse, he speaks with passion. Fanfiction author FreeElfDobby. She convinced me to write her name down here so she must be capable of miracles. Maybe she could inspire me to inspire her enough to write my name in her list? She is a crazy girl. Doesn't share much but has lots of opinions. And she is as big a fan of Harry Potter as I am (Yes that is very important to me in a person) Harry Potter Pledge : If I get a facial scar, I'll think of Harry P And if my brothers take all control I'll think of Ron Weasley If my hair is like a bush I'll think Hermione G Or if I feel too overworked I'll think of poor Dobby And if I feel just like a snoot I'm Draco M that day If I am simply just a hoot I'm Hedwig all the way If I feel way too wise and old I'll think of Dumbledore Or I'll be dear old Neville L Any time I snore I'll think of Hagrid every time The food is just too bad And Voldemort will fill my mind Whenever I am mad My blood will run gold every time That I am truly brave Or I'll be a Marauder When I simply can't behave Sevy Snape will be my guy When love is complicated And I'm Delores Umbridge When I am simply hated Hogwarts is my only home Until I'm cold and dead And when I put down one of the books It won't be left unread I pledge my life to Harry P And the magic world around Cuz JKR has touched my life And to Harry James Potter, I am bound [This isn't my own poem and i don't intend to take credit for the work] In Remembrance …In Remembrance to Severus Snape…. ….A Slytherin who died like a Gryffindor… ...without all the red and gold crap. …In Remembrance to Fred Weasley… …Who fought bravely to the very end…. …And whose jokes will forever brighten his other half… …And will loyally await his soul mate and brother… … with many jokes… ...he's got forever to think of them, right? …In Remembrance to Dobby… …Who was more free and full of love… ...than any elf, and most humans. ….In Remembrance to Remus J. I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying. Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much. If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all. The pure and simple truth is rarely pure and never simple. I don't want to go to heaven. None of my friends are there. Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination. Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world. Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught. With freedom, books, flowers, and the moon, who could not be happy? Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real? Anybody can sympathise with the sufferings of a friend, but it requires a very fine nature to sympathise with a friend's success. It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be. I have never let my schooling interfere with my education. Reality continues to ruin my life. I'm learning real skills that I can apply throughout the rest of my life ... Procrastinating and rationalizing. I'm not dumb. I just have a command of thoroughly useless information. Life's disappointments are harder to take when you don't know any swear words. I always surprise myself on my ability to turn a phrase. Words are, in my not so humble opinion, the most inexhaustible source of magic; capable of both inflicting injury and remedying it. I sometimes find, and I am sure you know the feeling, that I simply have too many thoughts and memories crammed into my mind. It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live. It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities. The fact that you can feel pain like this is your greatest strength The question, O me! so sad, recurring—What good amid these, O me, O life? Answer. That you are here—that life exists and identity, That the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse. If you want to be a grocer, or a general, or a politician, or a judge, you will invariably become it; that is your punishment. If you never know what you want to be, if you live what some might call the dynamic life but what I will call the artistic life, if each day you are unsure of who you are and what you know you will never become anything, and that is your reward. |
