He was Captain America, the supersoldier, the man out of time. He was Thor Odinson, god of thunder, the golden crown prince. But sometimes they were able to catch their breath and were just two men trying to find their way through the world.

A quiet morning at the Avengers Mansion in which Thor can be a disruptive influence even in his absence, Clint and Tony can't resist a challenge, Jarvis plays favourites, Steve can be very surprising and Bruce and Natasha watch in amazement. Takes place a couple of months or so after the movie.

People want to make him out to be a Boy Scout, everything innocent and patriotic about America. That's part of his DNA, but Steve's a man, not a saint, and even saints have breaking points.

To really understand what happened, it's necessary to go all the way back, long before the photo, the whole joke about capes, back before the ice and that little quirk with the lip, all the way back to how Darcy's hang up got this whole ball rolling in the first place.

Thor and Steve are definitely not hiding in a Denny's restaurant. Because Thor doesn't hide and Steve doesn't run away from his problems.
