So here's the deal. I write for Storm Hawks, because it's the only fandom I feel so connected to that I can write loyally in terms of characterisation. I'm a fan of great characterisation, and it even takes precedent over a plot. If you think about it though, characters are the ones who formed the plot anyway, which is why I favour characterisation over a lot of things in writing. However that being said, I feel that my characterisation can be improved immensely, but like many of you here, I am still grappling at the handlebars of this writing rollercoaster.

I have been writing for quite some time now, even if my profile here doesn't reflect it, or the quality of my writing doesn't establish this. If you are curious, my first fanfiction was when I was in my tweens when the first Storm Hawks episode broadcasted. I didn't know of this website, so I kept the writing privately to myself. Yes, at this age, I fell into the traps everyone had at one stage; the Mary Sue, plot holes, lame and horrible cliffhangers which are actually unbelievably unnecessary, and other mistakes. I've fixed these issues... I hope.

The stories I have uploaded at the moment show the progress of my writing, now that I look through them. Sure you can pick out the amateur mistakes in my earlier pieces, but I hope these do decrease through the more recent stories. However, have fun reading and you can always shoot me a PM if you want me to read yours and review.
