![]() Author has written 2 stories for Squid Girl/侵略!イカ娘. Ever since middle school, I have found that writing stories is a great way to express my creativity. The first story I ever wrote evolved from a simple 500 word short story assignment into an insane 60 chapter book, amazingly detailng the misadventures of the Pokemon from the TV Show and their quest to return a lost child to it's family. Sadly, I recently discovered that I have lost the original copy, and my handwriting was so horrible my parents couldn't read it onto a computer. At the time, I didn't like typing. Even now, I find it tedious and eye-straining. My best work comes from writing in pencil on notebook paper, but I've come to understand that won't be enough to actually do anything with my work. I discovered this site about a year ago, and even then I was just looking to read some humourous or enchanting tales regarding my favorite shows. When I went to look for a story based on Shinrakyu Ika Musume, however, I reallized that no one had posted the kind of exciting tale I had envisioned as an Ika Musume fanfiction. If you think about it, it's incredibly easy to introduce a new character into a setting like that. What I was looking for was a story involving other Fish-Hybrids, but when I couldn't find one, I took matters into my own hands. I mean seriously, there are cult fans of the character Tanabe Kozue everywhere, yet no one bothered to write her into a fanfiction? I will remedy that with my story, and I'm willing to bet that it might even be better than the explaination we'll recieve when the writer finally tells us her story. EDIT* Although it's been a few years since I was last active on this site, I can still find myself thinking about my stories from time to time. Every time someone reviews my fan-fictions, I still get emails notifying me that someone is still interested in something I wrote myself. Now that I've finally found a place where I can grow in my career, I felt confident enough to finally come back and finish what I started. I just want to take a moment to express how grateful I am for all the positive reviews to my stories, as well as the discerning ones. |
