Why is Arthur so worried about Merlin hiding under the Prince's bed? Author's Notes: This drabble came about from the chat comments on the Merlin-Forever rewatch of episode 2.06, 'Beauty and the Beast, Pt 2'. Merlin has been falsely accused of theft and has been driven into hiding. He comes to Arthur's chamber to solicit his help in breaking the spell Catrina has placed on Uther.

Merlin's and Arthur's flight is delayed. Notes: I had no workable idea for this week's LJ Camelot Drabble prompt (#58 Announcement), until my own flight was delayed. Merlin reaches out to Arthur's half-sister after the accident. This is just a bit of filler set between two Camelot Drabbles, Once in a Blue Moon, and Broken Bonds. It's probably best you read them in order. Broken Bonds has now been posted here . 'The Harpy' was too good to go the way of the cutting room floor, so-to-speak.

It takes a heroic act to earn any thanks from Arthur. Author's Notes: Several firsts in this drabble for me—first person POV, present tense and a modern setting. I finally settled on the 'blue moon' tie-in instead of 'depressed' blue or 'cold' blue or anything else that came to my mind. Thanks to inspired being on LJ for the beta. Set between Season 3 and 4. I wanted to write something other than 'marriage' proposal. Written for Camelot Drabble Prompt #54 "Proposal."

Alternative and additional scenes from 5.02. Arthur is severely beaten by Ragnor and his men while he and Merlin are being taken to Morgana as prisoners. A generous amount of hurt/comfort and banter ensues.
