She would wake from these dreams and still be able to smell the fresh cool air, pine and oddly enough - leather.

[Season five] [PWP] Coming into Alexandria things are tense. Daryl isn't coping well and Carol seeks him out to get a better handle on the situation.

"More," she breathed, looking up at him, lower lip caught between her teeth as she angled her hips – doing her best to try and suck him back down – hungry for it – every time he pulled back to surge down for another thrust. "God, Daryl-please. I need-"

Carol is a Princess and Daryl is a bandit who has been captured and imprisoned at the Castle. This is a very AU Caryl fairytale with good and evil, magic, tragedy, true love and an OUAT-like twist that brings the characters to present time in the second half.

What if there was a way to prevent the events that brought the group to the prison? What if there was a way to save every single person they have lost along the way? What if second chances at the end of the world actually existed? Will they be strong enough to save the others? This story has given me many sleepless nights but I think it has been worth it.

Daryl goes on a run with Carol and Merle. On the way back they encounter something straight out of a bad horror movie, that trumps the walkers they've grown to know and loath. Set in season 3. Was going to be an entry to a challenge but I went way over the word limit. Rated M for Merle mouth and... Merle humor.
