Flute player, music education major, aspiring author, avid reader

Hello all! My name (or pen name, rather) is Amelia Castell. I joined this site back when I was first starting to write, so most of (okay, all of) my old stuff is... pretty bad. BUT I refuse to delete any of it. It serves as a reminder that I can always get better, even when it seems like it's hopeless.

I've played piano for twelve years and took lessons for eight of those. It was my main instrument from age five to fourteen, until I picked up the flute for my school's band. I am now an instrumental music education major with the goal of becoming a high school band director in a few years!

I also really enjoy marching band, both the competitive and social aspect of it. I like Drum Corps International (DCI), which is basically the epitome of competitive marching band. I'm a member of my university's marching band and was a competitive marcher for four years in high school. I am also a former competitive journalist.

Supercharged

Venice- Metahuman/superhero with air manipulation and elemental sword creation powers. Ace/aro. Part of a superhero team. TW: abusive parents. Stephanie- Venice’s younger sister. Has minor powers (ability to draw out anything that has happened to her without reference).
Arthur- Stephanie’s husband. No powers.
Lauren- Stephanie and Arthur’s first child. She can create things (such as fire or an energy shield) out of written words. She is deaf.
Jonathan- Stephanie and Arthur’s second child. No powers.

Book (no title yet)

Alex- the main character. Has the ability to see and travel into other dimensions, as well as using energy manipulation (combative magic) to defend herself.
Mason- One of Alex’s best friends. Is with her when they end up in another dimension. Later finds out he is a wizard/warlock.
Linh- Alex’s other best friend. Also with her when they end up in another dimensions. Has no powers but is great with weapons (swords and stuff).
Fenn- Volanti (a species of humanoids with wings) warrior with strong plant and healing magic. Teaches Mason how to use his powers and helps out the trio.

Fantasy Characters

Avelaela (Ava)- Volanti. Was born mixed class, and therefore looked down upon by all of the Volanti. Runs away at age 7.
Nimue (Nim) Elven warrior with minor healing magic and strong fire magic. Becomes Ava’s best friend when Ava shows up in the Eastern Elven city at age 8.
Tanrym- Upper class Volanti who runs into Ava and Nim when they are fleeing attacks from their respective cities.

Others

Ray- Vampire character that I wrote out of boredom one day but then I got attached whoops.
Nathan- Basically part of the magic police that exist in the same universe as Ray.

The Greeks and the Brits

It's a Percy Jackson and Harry Potter crossover, focusing on my first OC, Leann Marie Roberts. She is the daughter of Poseidon and younger [half] sister of Percy Jackson. Leann receives a quest from Hecate to go to Hogwarts, and it just takes off from there.

It's my first story, so be warned, it's not that great.

Summary: What if Percy Jackson had a sister? Meet Leann Roberts, younger sister of Percy Jackson, daughter of Poseidon. Leann is given her own mission from Hecate herself, to go to a wizard school named Hogwarts! Along the way Leann will make friends, and enemies. (Starts right before Titans Curse and during Chamber of Secrets)

Forever and Then Some

This one is Rose/Doctor.

It starts out with Rose trying to get back to her universe.

On the flip side, the Doctor and Martha are hiding from the Family of Blood in 1913. Rose arrives then, and you can probably imagine what happens from there.

Then, after the whole Family of Blood incident, it's a series three re-write to include Rose. No MarthaxDoctor.

Edit 10/17/16: I am most likely going to go through a delete the chapters after the FoB arc ends. This story should've ended there, and I've lost all inspiration for it. Sorry guys!

Summary: "Don't be silly, Rose is just a made up character. She doesn't exist." Series 3 rewrite with Rose. Rose/Doctor.

Impossible

This is by far my most popular fic. It's the longest, and has the most followers, reviews, and favorites. However, I wrote this in eighth grade, so bear that in mind. This is a RosexEleven reunion fic.

Starts right before the Vampires in Venice, but skips the adventure entirely. Then it leads into the flip side (alt. universe) where Rose is living, without the metacrisis (read it to find out why, also sorry all you RosexMetacrisis shippers).

It goes on from there. Every series five episode after Vampires of Venice is there, re-written to include Rose.

Summary: Who said the impossible was impossible? Reunion fic!

Paper Stars

This is for the Gravity Falls Transcendence AU. It's only a oneshot.

Summary: Transcendence AU oneshot. Michaela learns to make paper stars from a man in her dream. Based on the comic by strangelykatie.

Halloween Candy

Summary: Transcendence AU oneshot. Dipper is corporeal the night after Halloween and eats all of Mabel's candy. The twins also realize that even though their parents love them, sometimes love just isn't enough.

My Only Sunshine

Old Frenemies

Voltron multi-chapter story post s6 in which Pidge encounters some old bullies of hers and things don't go so well.

Summary: The Paladins have made it to Earth with the lions on reserve power and no way to recharge them. In an attempt to quell their boredom, they go into town. Pidge didn't expect to run into classmates from her old school while having fun, much less realize that even after so long away from them, some wounds don't heal easily. Post s6, platonic/friendly Keith and Pidge, hints at Klance

Textbook

Linked Universe AU oneshot where Wild and Twilight mourn together over people they've lost.

Summary: Wild was an open book to them. He told the facts. He told the story like it was information and nothing more. He told it the way a warrior would write a mission recap. Wild was not an open storybook. He was an open textbook.
