Known as Old Romantic (or "Em" to friends) around the former , my LiveJournal (also oldromantic - you're welcome to visit and/or join my friends list, on oldromantic or emstories, where I publicly post my fics), and other internet sites related to Alias, I am an avid TV and movie watcher, as long as the stories are clean and entertaining. Currently, my favorite shows are Once Upon a Time, Castle, Bones, and Psych, though, I am still a fan of Fringe, Supernatural, The Amazing Race, CSI, Law & Order: SVU, and Who Do You Think You Are?, even if I am far behind on them and haven't seen every ep. I will forever miss Chuck, Alias, Pushing Daisies, and Monk. I was also a fan of Ugly Betty, Lost (at least until the finale), and Moonlight, but, with the exception of Lost, I was happy with their conclusions. Other favorites are my DVDs of Dark Angel, Beauty and the Beast, Remington Steele, or any of the Spider-Man or Superman movies. I am a romantic comedy movie sap, because anytime one premieres, you can usually find me sitting in the middle of the movie theater audience with stars in my eyes. Not to mention how many times they're played in my house once they're on DVD. My hubby and four children -- all under the age of 16 -- are often annoyed by this fact.

Given my love of writing and the art of fanfiction, my self-confidence has been restored, and I have finished not one, but two! novels that I'm currently editing and preparing to be sent off to publishers. But, no matter what, I probably will always continue to dabble in fanfic.
