And here I thought 43 was bad. This year 2014 has not only seen me turn 47, but celebrating my marriage in May of this year to my dear Kim. Marriage has been a change for both us, but I'm definitely happier with her than without her.

In fact, y'all can thank her for me emerging from my chrysalis, so to speak. She's been prompting me to do some writing and so I is!

And, in what I hope will be a popular decision, I am working on the next chapter of my Kyle Katarn story and the game Mysteries of the Sith.

Once again, I give thanks for my best friend, Chris, who convinced me to try this.

What kept me going through all of it was all my wonderful reviewers who praised and encouraged me. In fact, it was a fairly recent review of my "old" story that got me think to put virtual pen to virtual paper once again

I am still a rabid anime fan whose collection has grown over the years as well as a sci fi fan who loves both Star Wars and Star Trek. Having finally given Star Trek Enterprise a try, I can see that I had been VERY unfair to the show. It's quite enjoyable.

And of course, I have to mention Chris once more since his fanatic devotion to Babylon 5 infected me and we got each other hooked Mystery Science Theater 3000 as well as its current iteration, Rifftrax.

Still love Transformers too, was so glad to see Peter Cullen play Optimus Prime in the live action movies. That voice, no one can duplicate it.

Looking forward to getting y'all acquainted with my new story.
