After Terminus the group finds a small reprieve and Merle decides to intervene in Daryl's personal life in true Merle fashion. It's pretty AU because Merle is alive and he was the one with Carol while the group was separated instead of Tyreese. Just something a little humorous that I never thought I would post. Aaron is badly injured and, after the attack of The Wolves, the group at ASZ is left vulnerable. Daryl needs to go out to find more people, but he can't go alone. He chooses Carol to go with him. This time together will revive some painful memories for Carol and confessions will be made. But will they only come from Carol? Does Daryl have a dark secret too?

He knows this isn't a good idea. They're not his and never will be. He's not the kind of man to let a little thing like feelings change his mind...but walking away from these two might be harder than he thought. Mostly canon compliant with a few AU tweaks...beginning in Season One.

I wasn't going to post this since it was just a little something I wrote to cheer up my best friend but the few that read it say I should share with the rest of you. So this is me, sharing away. A bit of fluff at the end. If you aren't into Caryl then move on!

Everyone at the prison knows Daryl and Carol are together, except for the couple themselves. Will tragedy finally help them admit how they feel and do something about it?

AU. Carol manages to tear herself away from the violence of her husband but eventually finds herself in the middle of a world gone crazy. Something bad is happening and she believes that her own survival, and the survival of her friends, is balancing on the whims of three brutal and bickering rednecks.

But how much of who they used to be had been swept away too? A story of two damaged souls discovering going forwards means going back & facing the things that once held you. Axel calls Carol a lady and it makes her smile. He has no idea what he's stirred up in her, or what she's going to do now that she's finally remembered who she is.

A fun little Caryl one-shot about a fun little game.

It had been a hot day, the first real one of the summer and the air around them was thick and heavy. No-one seemed inclined to do much of anything, least of all anything that required any effort.

Daryl is more aware of his choices regarding Carol than anyone knows, each choice changing their relationship bit by bit, but he doesn't know where the trail of choices will lead them, he can only follow. Set right after the Season 3 finale.

Daryl tries to come to terms with the loss of his brother and, of course, it is a journey he strongly believes he should walk alone. But when she finds him there, next to her own grave, her kindness guides him out of the dark. Sometimes, in mourning, we see things in a different light. It doesn't have to be understood right away to be real.

Sophia didn't survive the attack at the quarry, and Carol must decide if there is anything left for her in a world gone mad.

When all of Rick's plans fail and the prison is lost, the group is separated. Before they can reconnect at their new camp, Daryl decides it's time for Plan "D". But can Carol handle it and is Daryl up to the task of charming this damaged woman in a broken world? Rated T for some Dixon language, but rating may change to M in later chapters.

What if Carol took Rick's invitation for people to leave if they didn't like his leadership? And Daryl just couldn't let her go alone...

Carol confronts old memories and finds unexpected support in a normally quiet and distant Daryl. Set after the events of "Disruptor". A 'Roses'-verse oneshot.

My challenge was a happy Caryl one-shot because I'm usually all dark and devastating with them . I wanted to keep it clean, and in character, but still give it the happy feeling at the end. Hope you like!
