 Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. When I was in the third grade, my teacher read our class Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and I was hooked. Sixteen years later and I still am. One of my favorite things in fanfiction is to take an unusual pairing or an unusual premise and run with it. That's mostly how I view fic, as an exercise in taking existing characters, manipulating them through unusual circumstances and seeing where they end up. I'm not picky or elitist about pairings and I'll give anything a chance! I believe with enough thought any pairing can work, some are just more challenging than others. Things I dislike in fanfiction are when characters are OOC, character bashing of any kind and whenever I see spells that can perfectly translate and interpret any language into any other language (but that's just because I'm a linguistics nerd and I'm sure not even magic could accomplish such a thing). I'll usually try and stick it out through bad grammar, but any of the above usually gets me yelling at my computer and receiving judgmental looks from my SO. In the end though I'm just a big dork. If you like my stuff I love reviews and if you don't like my stuff I love constructive criticism. Also if you ever just want to bounce story ideas or need a beta hit me up!
