Hi, I'm Kayleigh, and ever since I was seven and I got a shiny gold star for a poem I wrote in school I have been obsessed with writing. Though, in irony, the first piece of serious work I completed I had finished before I had even heard of fanfiction. It was a sequel to Robin Mccartney's Sunshine, and, yes, you guessed, she is one of the list of like twelve authors in the history of authors who have refused to have their work re-written by fans. Total bummer. So what's a girl to do with a full sequel to a story that had never been written and absolutely nowhere to put it? Why, work on something else of course. Labyrinth is my favourite movie, and always has been, so Labyrinth is my first official piece of fanfiction. But it won't be the only thing I'll ever write. Someday soon I hope to post a story that is entirely my own, and in the mean time I will leave all readers with a promise that nothing I ever post will be left unloved. I HATE IT when writers create something amazing and then leave it do die, and how unfair is it that my favourite piece of fanfiction happens to be an unfinished one. So, yeah, I will not disappoint.
