I had this idea watching a recent eclipse. The story is about fate entangled with actual eclipses that occurred in Toronto at the time. The 1st chapter explains what "eclipsical dilemmas" are (I made them up) and analyzes many of the "eclipsical dilemmas" William and Julia have faced. The 2nd chapter links in Eva Moon. The 3rd chapter is really my story. It's about love.

A new Inspector at stationhouse #4 catches Julia's eye. William and Julia work together to strengthen their relationship while William shows how he reacts to competition.

After William and Julia have been happily married for a while, Ruby comes to visit. Julia tells all to Ruby and Emily over a long lunch. William comes home with a plan to deal with the discomfort of knowing that his wife will have disclosed much about their relationship.

Even if you have never seen "Gilligan's Island," you will still be able to follow this story of Murdoch and company's adventures as Sally Pendrick and Ava Pierce abduct Murdoch, stranding him on a tropical island, and the Inspector, Crabtree, and even Meyers try to find him and, with his help, save the world, while William and Julia's bond is once again tested.

William and Julia are married, with a family, and working together again as detective and pathologist when they are forced to deal with a situation invoking anger and jealousy that must be dealt with for their relationship to grow.

After William and Julia argue behind the stationhouse about William hitting Darcy, they talk through their decisions and work to heal their relationship - spending the night together in Murdoch's office in a reclining chair.
