My name's Steff. Or Steph, depending on how you like to spell it. I'm thirty-three years old, I'm divorced, I'm the mother of two beautiful children. I'm a freelance journalist. (That means I get paid to write, yes.) I'm living in the Northeastern corner of this slightly dreary, occasionally downtrodden state of Ohio.

Hm... what else is there? I'm obsessively protective of my right to free speech. I'm a fair critic. I used to write a column (The Journey), hosted here and on FictionPress. I'm the owner and maintainer of fic_simplicity on LiveJournal. I am an occasional participant in the alt.startrek newsgroups, and on fandom_wank. I own the stellar Star Trek Fanfiction Archive Ad Astra. I'm also a pretty friendly person, believe it or not. So if you ever wanna shoot the bull, or just ask about the weather in NE Ohio, give me a shout.

She has been known to publicize personal information about people who get on her bad side.
