EmbracingRain is a ginger who lives in North America. She has an older brother and all her cousins are boys. On December 1st, 2009, she became an aunt for the first time. She loves reading and writing. She hopes to become famous and is working on a book and a TV show…but that’s just a pipe dream. She has three dogs and a cat named Cleopatra.

o9. I'm a funny person. It sounds conceited, but it's true. I've got a very sarcastic sense of humor.

I spend most of my time writing or with my nose buried in books. Whenever I have some spare money, you'll find me in the nearest book store. I'm currently in search of The Bell Jar and have started reading Nicholas Sparks' books. I find inspiration in the people I know and love. They are all absolutely amazing, fascinating people. With them, my life is never boring, nor is it exactly normal. Conversations are random and crazy, you never know what we'll discuss! I love it when I find people who inspire me. Currently, my best guy friend is my inspiration and, because of him, my time has been consumed by my off-site fiction. Poetry, plays, short stories, a novel... I owe him quite a lot!

I'm currently enrolled in college. I'm an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in business. My goal is to become involved in publications once I graduate, and my career goal is to become a book editor. I am an excellent editor. My friends have come to rely on me and often ask me to edit their papers before they turn said papers in. One of my friends wound up earning an A on a paper instead of the C he would've gotten had I not checked for spelling, grammar, and content. Something tells me I'm on the right career path, haha.

Fanfiction-wise, my current concentration is Sonny With a Chance. I ship Channy, TawnixOC, NicoxPortlyn, and NicoxChloe. I've also dabbled in Teen Titans (I shipped RobinxStarfire and Beast BoyxRaven), Danny Phantom (I shipped DannyxSam and TuckerxValerie), and Avatar: the Last Airbender (shipping Zutara, Taang, and Sokki) fanfiction. Teen Titans was my first foray into the fanfiction world, followed by Danny Phantom, then Avatar. I've kept all of my old stories up so I can see how far I've come as a writer since joining the site. I'm proud to say that I've come very far, though I still have a way to go. I believe that, as writers, we are all constantly growing and developing, so I feel that allowing my readers to see how far I've come is important. Even though I'm ashamed of the poor quality of my old pieces, I still believe it's important that people get to see how far I've come as a writer.

For me, writing is oftentimes a very cathartic experience. Most of the time, what you're reading is a part of my life or my heart.
