![]() Author has written 63 stories for X-Men. (Updated 1- 11- 20) Howdy, folks. My works are divided into two catogories -- regular 616 and Kimbleverse. I know I have written a lot for the Kimbleverse and it can seem like too much work to read it all, but there are a couple of points later on where you can jump in without having to start all the way from the beginning. You can jump in at the Twilight series or at the newest point, Children of the Gods. You'll just have to be patient when you realize some things are different from the usual 616. This was originally an illustrated work, but as readership slowed it was no longer worth it for me to maintain the site for the images. I apologize to any new readers. Kimbleverse This long, ongoing story brings in some new characters to play with the X-men -- my Siskans, my best buds. I hope you will grow to like them as I have. Please do me the favor of not stealing them. Kimbleverse is a single story divided into many sections because it's simply too huge to post in one sitting. What is it about? Well, it focuses mainly on Wolverine, Beast and especially Gambit as they are kidnapped by off world slavers and taken to another world. There they meet up with a sentient Siskan hologram that they later bring back home with them. Mayhem and antics ensue. The story has both serious and light points and one or two big fights tossed in for good measure. It is rated M for good reason --violence, language, and some sexual situations -- so no young kids please. The story is continuity driven and the sections should be read in order. They are listed below this profile in the order that they were posted so you may have to scroll all the way down to get to the beginning. My story begins with the Kimble series and should be read in this order : The Kimble series: (1)Taken, (2)The Clan, (3)Endgame, (4)Adrift, (5)The Hunter, (6)Breaking Point, (7) Through the Looking Glass, (8)Going Home (9)New Beginnings, (10)Misbehavin', (11) Steppin' Out, (12) Consequences, (13) Shattered, (14) The Three of Me, (15) Secrets, (16) Truths, (17) Channeler Rising, 18) Master, Beloved, 19) Confessions, (20) A Cajun Vacation, (21) Checkmate, (22) Recovery (23) The King and Me, (24) The Dreamer, (25) The War Within, (26) Finding Angel, (27) Mergers and Consolidations. The Game series: Seven years have passed since the last series ended, now the Game begins. There is an introduction at the beginning of this so that new readers can jump on here if they don't want to read through the Kimble series if they don't want to. (1) First Moves, (2) Disaster, (3) Warning Shot, (4) Betrayal, (5) Reunion, (6) Good Company, (7) Decisions, (8) Games, (9) Turbulence, (10) Learning Curve, (11) Ambuscade, 12) Growing Pains, (13) Aftermath, (14) Transitions, (15) Serenity, (16) Red Skye Rising, (17) The Calm Before the Storm, (18) War. Learning to Fly: The two part epilogue to the Game. The Game has brought many changes to our dear friends, but even more so to one poor Cajun thief. (1) Crash and Burn, (2) Flight. The Eye of the Beholder A one shot. Logan learns that how we see the past is up to our own perspective. Features Famayalin (Wild Child), Asher and Wolverine. My Dark Angel A one shot. Who is Simone? One X-man is about to find out. When it comes to love and friendship, sometimes we don't get to choose. Features Rogue and Simone. The Twilight series: Nick Fury asks Logan to help him stop some drug traffickers. Logan agrees but when he goes on the mission, he gets a lot more than he ever bargained for, including a trip to another dimension! Oh, my! Features Logan, Gambit and Beast. This series also has an introduction for new readers and can be read without having to read everything that happened above. (1) The Island , (2) Lost and Found , (3) Breaking Frost, (4) Secret Hearts, (5) Tangled Up in Blue, (6) Misconceptions, (7) Playgrounds. Children of the Gods series: In 2007, we were introduced by Marvel to two new characters in Logan's world -- Daken and Romulus. I know some folks hate him, but I fell in love with Daken immediately and was intriged by Romulus though we have caught only just a small glimpse of the man. I thought it would be interesting if I could somehow integrate these two guys into Kimbleverse. I know the question will be asked -- why should I keep using Kimbleverse at all? The thing is, it is the world I am now most familiar with and I guess I am too lazy to go anywhere else for the moment. Please forgive me. Logan is taken by Daken and brought to Romulus, the mysterious leader of the Lupine. Remy, with his newly formed Red Team, go to his rescue. The story mainly features Logan, Remy, the usual Siskans, Kyle, Grace, and some of the kids from Twilight that got picked up. As with Twilight, the Siskans involved in this story are team members and not the main focus, they will simply be giving an assist. Like Twilight, this series also has an introduction for new readers and can be read without having to read everything that happened above. (1) Snow Tales, (2) Riding the Night Train, (3) Blood Ties, (4) Making the Grade, (5) Where the Wild Things Go. Coming eventually: Not Yet. Logan enlists the aid of his newly found daughter/clone Laura Kinney (X23) to help him eliminate the threat of Romulus. You will need to have read my Children of the Gods series to read this because of continuity issues. Not Kimbleverse/ Regular 616: Mulligans PG-13. What would it be like if Gambit ever ran across a female version of himself? And what if she had just as much of a crush on Rogue as he does? ROMY because it had to be. Let me explain, lol. This story came about because someone at the SuperHeroHype posted a piece of fanart of a female Gambit. We all talked about it and then someone said, "What if Remy ever ran across this female version of himself? That could be funny." And then someone else said, "Yeah, but it would be even funnier if she blew him off in favor of Rogue." So then someone proposed a challenge -- who could write a fanfic of this? This story is my attempt to answer those questions. Hope Rated K for all ages. Gambit, now estranged from the X-men, spends a lonely Christmas Eve alone. Or so he thought. This story is a one shot and takes place in current continuity (Fall/Winter 2008). It won the December 2008 fanfic contest at the SuperHeroHype where we were challenged to write a story about our favorite character at the holidays. It's kind of a sad but sweet sort of tale and I hope folks like it. |
