With regard to your author note to Kateril at the beginning of this chapter, the Shadows discovering the circle would not necessarily mean Sheridan and Sinclair would be assassinated. But even if they did assassinate both, the circle would be unaffected. Sinclair in particular is only Valen later in the timeline because Delenn pointed at him at the Battle of the Line. If she had pointed at someone else, THAT person would have be shown to have Valen's soul by the Triluminary, and would then go on to travel back in time to become Valen in the next loop. Even if she didn't point at anyone in this loop, Valen would still exist in the current loop because she did point at him in the previous loop.

Remember, she points to people at the BotL because she was telepathically prepared to do so by Kosh, and the Triluminary is Vorlon technology that does what Vorlons tell it to do.
