AU. Donna could deal with her best mate having a severe case of amnesia. Donna could deal with his oddities like his extensive knowledge of physics, astronomy, and history. She could even deal with his energetic personality and complete lack of the need to sleep. What she couldn't deal with is a strange man banging on her door at two in the morning, claiming to be said best mate.

After the Library, the Doctor has a lot to think about. When he realized he said the wrong answer to his companion, it was too late to erase the effects it had on her. An adventure featuring the tenth Doctor and Donna. The Doctor and Donna land on the advanced planet of Bartiere, but the Doctor has been here before. The sun is dying and a child is infected, but can Donna save the day?

The Doctor and Donna come across a string of ships with dead crew and missing organs. The trail leads them to a man who discovers the Doctor’s unique physiology and decides he simply must have it.

A mysterious purse snatcher is on the run and the Doctor chases him down, discovers a little furry animal left behind in the thief's wake and gets bitten by it. Little by little the Doctor begins losing bits of his memory.
