![]() Author has written 8 stories for Bleach, and Naruto. Stories Loose Ends: Written because Hitsugaya would blame himself for everything before he blamed Hinamori, as we saw in the anime when he says to Unohana when Hinamori was in her coma, "The current me has nothing to say to her." Plus, I was kind of mad at Hinamori at that point in time, and writing this story made me like her a lot more, if only because of the fact that hey, if Hitsugaya forgives her, what right do I have to not? I just wish we got to see more of their relationship dynamics after that fated 'first conversation.' (Complete) Seven Steps to Trust: Inspired by the line in the anime, when Hitsugaya says in the Soul Society Arc, "Follow me, Matsumoto. we will stop this execution." This story is meant to look at just how far their trust in each other goes, and how strong their friendship is in humorous, and serious situations. (Complete) Unexpected: Inspired by the current Bleach theme song. No idea what it's called though, but there's this scene where Matsumoto comes out of no where and hugs Hitsugaya, and I was like, what would happen if they weren't in the same team anymore? I just love those two, and their relationship is something that I like to delve into. Anyways, like usual, this is more of a character/friendship piece than romance. Sigh. (Complete) No Strings Attached: Oh Lord. I'm so scared about this story. Because it's a fast paced romance which I find realistic (... okay, somewhat realistic). It was inspired by the line in Soul Society where Renji is fighting Byakuya and Byakuya is like, "Who did you vow to that you would protect Rukia?" and then Renji kinda laughs and goes like, "No one," and finds strength again, "Just to my soul!" And I was just like, "...Wow." I mean, This is a Renji/OC story, but that line was the inspiration as it showed Renji's loyalty and complete love towards this girl who (depending on me reading the signs correctly) may never love him back in that way. And, I do think that my OC - Noriko - is pretty okay. And the story delves into the complex being that is Renji, and I'm loving it. (In Progress) Out of Reach: My first ever Ichigo/Rukia story. This story was inspired by Ichigo's fight with Renji way back in the Soul Society Arc, in which Ichigo's like, "I have to save her! She changed my life." Of course, I'm completely sure he meant that in a platonic way, but it was the start. Their bond is just so deeply connected with each other - that's how I felt in the SS arc. Plus, it has the angst factor, which I love. Overall, I enjoyed writing it - it almost hurt me to write some of it. But the scenes just flew out of my fingers. (Complete) Crevice: My first Naruto story! Predictably, it was about Sasuke. To be perfectly honest, I don't even like Sasuke that much. I just, you know, like to look at him. But he has a really interesting character and after the whole Itachi escapade this just had to be written. I had to constantly keep changing it because it took me like, a month to write and each week a new chapter came out revealing details. In fact, in the first draft of the story, I wrote Itachi as evil. Although this is completely a Sasuke story, I must admit I enjoyed writing the SasuNaru bits because that is like, wow. Such an intense relationship. Completely inspired by that line before the Valley of the End fight when Naruto says, "I'll break your arms and legs if it means I'll bring you back!" (Complete) Ever After: Wow, um. I actually have very little to say about this. The line that this was inspired by was, "she made it stop raining in me," which was said by Ichigo so long ago at the end of the Soul Society arc. And, I dunno, just that whole scene at the end with Rukia in her kimono and the sunset and the soft sketching really meant something to me. It was so private, and gentle, and meaningful. It was something that was almost beyond by grasp which was why I couldn't write it in Ichigo or Rukia's POV cause I don't fully understand the depth of their canon bond. Thus, Yuki was born. =) I'm just sad that Ishida wasn't in it. (Complete) UPDATE JAN 2012 - Ever After has suddenly started getting a lot of feedback recently and just, wow. I don't know what to say beyond thank you, it means more than you'll all know that you guys read and liked something so close to my heart. I wrote the story when I was 16 (?) and obviously there are things that could be better about it and just, thank you so much forever. ALSO, there the lovely pamianime has drawn some fabulous art for the fic!! (Clearly I fail at hyperlinking or something because they never work :/ SO I SHALL POST DIRECT LINKS INSTEAD). 1. The very last scene with Ichigo and Rukia in the field. : (http:///art/Ever-After-170231345?q=gallery&qo=93) 2. The photo of Ichigo and Rukia with baby!Yuki in the snow. : (http:///art/Ever-After-Forever-179041531?q=gallery&qo=85) 3. BB!Yuki being sad about her mom. : (http:///art/Ever-After-Why-did-you-leave-257492992) Won't You Smile for Me Tonight: This is the most self-indulgent thing I've ever written, so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that it's also my most favourite. :) I love established-relationship fic, so of course I had to do one for IchiRuki, but it's more than that, too. As I said in the notes portion of the story, this is my love letter to one of my most cherished ships in the world. For me, this story is about Ichigo and Rukia and how they represent everything I love and respect about love and family, of fate and choices. Not inspired by any one line in particular, though the scene near the beginning of the Arrancar arc when Rukia beats some sense into a morose Ichigo is one of the canon scenes a lot of the underlying parts of their relationship in this fic is based on. =) (Complete) |
