Soooo, what to say?

A bit about me My real life name is Carina. I got into reading and writing fanfics some years ago, when I was all emo-y and sad and thought nobody liked me xDD Well. Fanfiction kinda helped with that, so I have a lot to thank it for.
I'm studying English and History and I'm going to try to get a teaching degree. I spend most of my time reading or nurturing my addiction to TV series. Other than that ... I'm a little nuts but I like it that way. I have two cats that are a bit smarmy, but I love them nonetheless. I also am what people would call a sucker for the English language. It's cool, I steals from other languages and it sounds far nicer than German ever has the hope of doing. Even though I'm noticing that I'm messing up my grammar a lot while speaking German these days xD

Pairings
Harry Potter: Harry/Severus, Harry/Draco, Harry/Voldemort(Tom), Harry/Fawkes (too few of them out there!), Harry/Remus, etc.
I usually only read stories with Harry as the main character. And I hate stories that portray him as an always crying whimp that is still thought of as hot by everybody and that has the mentality of a five year old -.- I like Harry strong and capable with a cool sense of humor and a big soft mushy heart xD
Supernatural: Gabriel/Sam, Dean/Castiel
Stargate Atlantis: John/Rodney aka best pairing in this and every other galaxy. Pegasus included
Star Trek XI: Kirk/Spock, Bones/Kirk, Bones/Chekov
Glee: Kurt/Karofsky
Avengers: Tony/Steve, Tony/Bruce, Stark Spangled Banner

I also love crossovers, mainly with Harry Potter. But there are so few good ones out there ...

I usually don't read fics below the count of 10,000 words. I like stories to be long, even though I know that I myself am not really able to write something like that (ususally). I lose interest too quickly. But I favor stories with a high word count, because they have more depth and are more believable most of the time.
