Hello all, I'm Moriyah, a twenty-seven year old lover of words. Since I was 14 I've loved fanfiction, imagine, authors allowing you to write stories involving their characters and universes, how awesome! I'm attempting to become a better writer and hope to one day publish my own stories (even though all my ideas reside inside my head currently). Within the past two years, I left my full time job in Georgia, moved to West Virginia and became a Emergency Medical Technician and Firefighter, respectively. Definitely wasn't something I planned, EMS sort of found me and I couldn't imagine doing anything else now. Battling the COVID-19 epidemic now, conducting testing for the community twice a week while maintaining my job and running calls for the fire department, it is certainly not something I imagined myself ever being a part of. All the uncertainly has definitely reminded me of the comfort in escaping to a different world, and so I'm attempting to finish writing my stories while also in Paramedic class. Encouragement is appreciated!

As Seen Through a Mirror: I wanted to experiment with writing multiple point of views without it being obnoxious. I'm very serious about keeping the characters true to their original selves. There is no sudden change of heart, if they hated each other in the books, they hate each other at the beginning of this story. I like slow, character development wrapped around an original plot and a multitude of surprises. There won't be any slash.

The Art of Forgetting: This is the first Severitis story I've written, it won Potions & Snitches Story Fest for 2015, and the sequel The Art of Forgiving won for 2016. Probably the most angsty story I've written. I'm contemplating a long sequel, making it a trilogy, would like to know people's thoughts.
