![]() Author has written 9 stories for Death Note, Harry Potter, and Cats. EDIT: Okay, so I'm FINALLY getting off of my ass and attempting to finish the "Head Over Heels" series. Seems I just needed some time and inspiration. Sorry to keep any of you waiting for it, if any of you are. (AT least I hope some people are.) Just a few notes about the "Head Over Heels" series: I had originally written the story "Pillow Talk" as a one-shot, but then I got the idea to write "Telephone". The two were supposed to be completely separate from each other, but I couldn't do away with the idea that they went hand-in-hand. And then, as I was writing up the first draft of "Telephone", I got the idea to make a third story, and therefore, include all of them as part of a single entity. Hence the idea for the three-part "Head Over Heels" series. The title is significant because the song by Tears for Fears pretty much maps out the progression of the relationship between Tugger and Misto; only, it might be just a bit more idealized in my head. :) All three of the stories included in the series will be uploaded separately and can be read as one-shots, but they all go together—hand-in-hand. "Telephone" has already been posted, and hopefully, the yet-to-be-titled third will follow soon. I've also got a few other ideas for this fandom (and this pairing): one small snippet of a one-shot that I actually need to bring myself to edit, and one that—hopefully—I'll garner the patience to write out, as it'll be a long one. I might pop up with a story here or there that isn't TuggerXMisto-related (I've been wanting to write a MunkustrapXDemeter. A heterosexual pairing! I know!), but we'll just have to wait and see. As for my other stories? I'm done with the "Death Note" ones. I just don't have the same enthusiasm for them; I barely even like them anymore. I might post one last chapter of "L's Stalkers" just for the sake of closure, but to me, it's done. "Like a Punch in the Face" is done. I had no direction and no passion for those stories, and they aren't even well-written. I'll leave those stories up—just like I'll leave up my first two stories—because I know that some people like them, but I'm done. I suppose for being written a few years ago, they're passable in quality, but I'm moving on. But for all of you who bothered and will still bother to let me know what you thought of my stories—whether you thought they were excellent or downright horrible—thank you so much. You have all made me a better writer, and your words mean the world to me. Thank you so much. —NothingFromNowhereImNoOneatAll |
