![]() Author has written 3 stories for Titanic. Well, since the last time I updated this was in 2009, I believe I should probably get this more up to date. My name is Emily, I'm 16 years old and I'm a Junior in Highschool. I currently live in a small, red-necky town in South Carolina, but I'm originally from New York. Believe me when I say I'll probably never get over the culture shock. Writing is kind of like my therapy, when I'm upset about something, besides actually venting about it, I have a tendency to write (or type) it out. My computer is filled with files of me literally just pouring my heart out about the most random of things. Looking back on them now they seem trivial, but they've made me realize that I write my best when I'm upset. That being said, I also use writing as my drug. Most kids my age would go out and find something irresponsible to do, but I'd rather use something creative as my outlet. I write because once I get to that place where I feel like a story is really coming together, I get completely lost in it. And I absolutely love the feeling. As for my hobbies, there really aren't any. I write, (obviously), read, watch a ridiculous amount of movies, waste my life away on the internet, and I dance, even though I'm quite horrible at it. School takes up most of my time, so I'm afraid there's no regularity when it comes to stories. I mostly write for Titanic, because it has been and probably always will be my favorite movie of all time. However, I have a horrible habit of never actually finishing a story. I come up with these really great ideas sometimes but I"m never satisfied with any ending I come up with. Now that I sound all cocky, (Haha!), I'm reallyyyy open to constructive criticism. I feel like whenever I ask friends or members of my family's opinions they just yes me to death, so pleaseee. If you hate my story, tell me. Yes, you'll probably hurt my feelings just a little bit. But in the end it'll make me a better writer, and soon enough I'll come to appreciate it. Okay, now that I've babbled on long enough, I hope you enjoy what I've written! Feel free to shoot me an email anytime if you have questions or if you just want to talk to a random stranger. :) Have a wonderful day! |
