![]() Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, Monk, Law and Order: SVU, and CSI. Hey, my name is Jessie and I'm an English Masters Degree student. I love to read and write fanfic. I was at one point studying to be a cop, then a forensic scientist then now I'm in an English program. I'm hoping that relaxing through writing will help with some of the stress I feel while I'm in this program. I've been reading fanfiction since about 2008 and writing it since before then in the 90s when I wrote Mulder/Scully fic as a kid without knowing what that was called. I think the first thing that really got me into fanfiction was MuggleNet and Harry Potter and since then I've branched out into mostly femmeslash since I figured out my own identity. You can kind of see that in the way that I looked at fanfiction pairings too. My Ships Harry Potter: Harmony(H/Hr): Harry and Hermione for the win!!! I always thought that his infatuation with Ginny was just that, infatuation. Not to mention it comes bloody of the blue! McGonagall/Snape: I don't know why I like it, but it's pretty funny. Snape/Lilly: It would be amazing. Best friends turning into lovers. X Files: Mulder/Scully: Does this one even need explaining? Monk: Monk/Natalie: It seems like he's grown with her and they would be the cutest couple! I'm mad it never happened. But that's what FanFiction is for! Twilight: Alice/Bella: I can't stand Edward and Bella because of the controlling nature of him and his beliefs. iCarly: Sam/Carly: Best friends make the best couples The Silence of the Lambs: Hannibal/Clarice: I just can't get enough of it! Law & Order SVU: Alex/Olivia: I don't even know if I can say enough about this pairing as it is one of my all time favorites. I just can't get it out of my head especially after hearing the interview that Stephanie March gave about Olivia and Alex being in love with one another. Rizzoli & Isles: Jane/Maura: The title pairing of the show and there is just so much subtext going on in every episode so I can't imagine anything better than best friends turning into more. Criminal Minds: Prentiss/J.J.: Something about 200 got to me but even before that... To imagine your female best friend saving you from torture as opposed to your husband just screams that there's more going on there. CSI: Cath/Sara: There is just something about it with these two and their fights that seems to belay a deeper connection that just hateful arguments. I also just love hot women, so, they work well. My Stories: Harry Potter: The Yule Ball, Revised: On hiatus (5/?) Second Chances: On hiatus Monk: Mr. Monk and the Big Move: On hiatus CSI: |
