Wassup, everyone! Hi, I’m Coli Chibi, a fanfiction author who has been writing and reading on this fantastic website for a couple years now! I’m a fan of Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, the classic Final Fantasy games, Usagi Drop, Digimon, Megaman (the classic games and the Battle Network Series), Lucky Star, Inuyasha and Super Smash Bros.! I’m a confirmed Catholic who lives in the U.S.A. Writing is my favorite pastime, and I love to read the works of other writers. I hope to be a real-life, fully paid author one day, but until then I’ll just settle for writing here. I love to read the reviews of other readers and I love to help other writers out when I can. I mainly read Pokemon fanfiction but occasionally read other stories. I don’t have much actual social interaction with other people in real life, but I do love to chat with other authors here! :D Current Projects: Pokemon Red and Blue: Tony's Journey: Usually updated every Friday around 3:00! Be sure to read and review! Tony’s Journey: Unova Grand Tour. On hiatus due to writer's block and a nasty case of Toriyamaism. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Prehistory. On hiatus due to lack of interest and writer’s block. Future Projects: A possible sequel to Toxic Love, my Kirlia/Grimer romance story. An in-depth backstory to my Pokemon OC Tony Maruko/Tony Miller. A possible Negaishipping (Ash/Iris) Pokemon one-shot. A little about my likes: My Top Four Anime Girls! Number 4: Videl, from Dragon Ball Z: Let’s face it: Akira Toriyama may be able to write big, beefy muscle men who can blow up planets but he can’t seem to write women very well – and for that matter, he kind of sucked at writing romance too. That changed in the Great Saiyaman Saga and Majin Buu Saga of Dragon Ball Z when he introduced Videl, the only daughter of the planet earth’s fake savior Hercule. Videl is not the strongest or smartest character in the series; despite this, she is a formidable martial artist and, with the help of Gohan, possesses the ability to fly using her ki. While there’s little chance she’d ever really survive a fight with pretty much any other character in DBZ, she wouldn’t let that stop her from trying. Videl’s faced incredibly dangerous opponents in the past, taking out huge musclemen and even armed gunmen. Even when confronted with a no-win scenario she never gives up. Being a tsundere (I think) she may appear cold and harsh on the outside, but on the inside she’s got a heart of gold, proving this by donating her time to the police force by legally aiding them in stopping criminals. Could we expect anything less from the champ’s daughter? Number 3: Sango from Inuyasha: I’ve been told that there’s something sexy about a girl with a gun. I’ve never seen it, personally. I believe the guy who told me was a monk named Miroku, who was promptly pounded on the head by a boomerang the size of a surfboard. Not exactly sexy, but certainly awesome! Sango is a demon-slayer with a boomerang that could behead Godzilla. What really makes Sango stand out from the rest of the Fellowship of Inuyasha (or whatever it’s called) is that fact that she’s the only true mortal human on the team: Inuyasha is a half-demon, Miroku and Kagome have their priest and priestess powers, Shippo is a fox demon and Kirara is a cat demon. Sango has no magic and no super strength. Despite this, she’s probably the second-best combatant on the team, capable of holding her own against demons that are much larger and stronger than her. Of course, she never fights alone. Her partner is Kirara, a demon cat (I always thought she looked more like a fox, personally) who can shape-shift to a larger size and fly to give Sango an additional edge. Sango is compassionate as well, always willing to put herself at risk for others, even for people she’s only met! That’s why Sango is awesome… well, that and the GIANT FREAKING BOOMERANG. Yeah, I know that boomerangs weren’t invented in Japan but… Shut up, it’s awesome. Number 2: Kagami from Lucky Star: Kagami, the sometimes tsundere character in Lucky Star. Some see her as a stick-in-the-mud and a know-it-all who hangs around the much cooler and mellow Konata. I personally Konata as an obnoxious little freeloader and Kagami as a responsible and intelligent young woman. Kagami may be rude at times, but the rudeness is generally brought forth by Konata’s mischief. While not the smartest person on the show, Kagami works hard for her grades and always puts her responsibilities first. Unfortunately, Kagami’s hard work is often exploited by her “friend” Konata, who never bothers to do her own homework and just copies Kagami’s. Despite this, Kagami seems to care about Konata anyways, showing a sense of forgiveness that I know I wouldn’t show in the same situation. Kagami also cares deeply for her twin sister Tsukasa, often helping her with her homework and supporting her despite her ditsy nature. Even though she’s a work of fiction, I can’t deny that I wish I had a friend like Kagami. Number 1: Rin from Usagi Drop/Bunny Drop: What else can I say? She’s sweet, she’s cute, she’s smart, she’s polite, she’s curious and she’s perfectly written. She’s an adorable little girl who makes the best of a bad situation and is one part of the duo that makes Usagi Drop my favorite anime of all time. If you haven’t heard of her then I recommend you find some episodes online and experience the awesomeness that is Rin for yourself. Now if only Usagi Drop had an English dub… My Top Twenty favorite Pokemon evolution lines: 20: The Ratatta line. 19: The Eevee line. 18: The Vulpix line. 17: Mawile. 16: The Zubat line. 15: The Grimer line. 14: The Ralts line. 13: The Seedot line. 12: The Jinx line (Stop laughing!). 11: The Duskull line. 10: The Scyther line. 9: The Sewaddle line. 8: The Paras line. 7: The Machop line. 6: The Charmander line. 5: The Arbok line. 4: The Joltik line. 3: The Heracross line. 2: The Gastly line. 1: The Spinarak line. :D Top fifteen reasons why the Pokemon: Black and White anime series is better than the older ones (in my opinion): 15: Iris didn’t get her bike atomized at the pilot so that she had an excuse to follow Ash. 14: They brought back Professor Oak’s voice actor to voice Cedric Juniper. 13: It references the older series, including season one. 12: The writers made Team Rocket somewhat competent. 11: The writers finally realized that not every episode needs Team Rocket to try and steal Pokemon and get blasted off. 10: Ash seems a little smarter. Not as smart as he was in Advanced but I’ll take what I can get. 9: Cilan replaced Brock, meaning we don’t have to deal with Brock being a pervert every episode. 8: No Misty? No problem! 7: Stephan proves that you can be a rival without being an a$$hat. 6: Also, the Stephan name gag makes more sense than the Butch name gag. 5: Ash finally catches another Bug-type. 4: Cilan and Burgundy are a cute couple. 3: Bianca is hilarious. 2: They put N in the anime. 1: Ash and Iris totally went on a date in one episode. About time he settled down! |
