Hi everyone!

In case anyone is interested:

I have recently come to the conclusion (why it's taken so long I don't know), that I should write stories for whatever fandom I'm currently on a fan craze about. There is no real point in forcing myself to write a Firefly story if I'm currently into Ranger's Apprentice, etc. This should be obvious, but I've got this thing about finishing the things I start so it feels weird stopping a story half-way and writing another. Well, I'm just going to have to get used to it. Here's a list for the fandoms I've got ideas for and I will be alternating between them periodically:

Ranger's Apprentice

Sky High (Less likely)

Pirates of the Caribbean.

Firefly/Serenity

Leverage

Note: the following information may or may not be outdated!

Stories currently in the works:

Leverage (2 multichapters and 1 oneshot)

Pirates of the Caribbean (1 oneshot, possibly 1 multichapter)

Firefly/Serenity (1 multichapter)

Here's some lists of things I will do, will not do, and usually won't do:

Will Do:

Keep as close to the cannon story as possible

Write relatable, non-Sue OCs

Write silly stories that are both funny and cute

Accept constructive criticism about my stories

Use the full extent of my literary abilities to write good stories

Keep cannon characters in character

Get ridiculously excited over reviews

Give honest feedback on other people's stories

Will NOT Do:

Write slash. Ever. Period. Don't even ask.

Read slash. See above

Write any explicit adult stories

Use strong swear words (i.e. the F word), whether it's appropriate for the fandom or not

Throw a hissy fit over a someone constructively criticizing my story. (Flames do not count)

Usually Don't But Sometimes Might:

Write crack (just not crack pairings). I have to be in a particular mood and have some strong inspiration to do this

Include suggestive/mildly adult themes. This is only if it's appropriate and within the bounds of the fandom. Depending on the fandom it might be less than what the cannon does, such as Firefly.

Write a Mary Sue in a Mary Sue-like story. While this seems to contradict one of my "Will Do"s, this is for stories where I know full well that I'm making a Sue and doing Sue things. A lot of it will poke fun at Sues and their stories, but I will be trying to make the story as good as it can be, if that makes any sense.

Have swear words in my stories. These would be mild and fandom appropriate

About my fanfics:

In my main, long stories, I usually add an original character. I try very hard to make my OCs believable and not Mary-Sues. I don't like my characters to be a "love interest" and there are not really any "adult themes" in my stories. I will try to have a large section completed before I post it, just so I don't keep anyone waiting.

I also have a couple random short stories now and then, which may or may not have anything to do with my long stories.

Eventually I will have art to go along with my fanfiction stories. I just need to figure out how to draw well. They will be found on my DevianART account, which you can view if you click on "Homepage". I'll let you know when I have some, probably on the stories the drawings will go with.

My Stories:

The Plight of Rodney:

A goofy little Stargate Atlantis story set early in the fourth season. This was originally written as a school entry, so it contains a lot of explanations for the show. (One-shot) This was written a looooong time ago so it frankly isn't that great now that I look at it.

Family

Another Stargate Atlantis story. This one's more serious. It has an OC (oh noes!!). This story is also set in season four, a week after The Plight of Rodney, and it does make references to the other story. Ok, so it's not the best and needs some more work, but hey, I was limited on how much I could right originally. I will fix it, but it might be a while. It was also a school assignment. (3 chapters)

The Absense of Order

The sequel to Family, this one is much better, if I do say so myself. It's also a lot gorier. Again, this was a school assignment, but I had no maximum amount of pages or words!! It's set in the fifth season (4 chapters)

The above stories are italicized! What could it mean!?! It means I have deleted them! But why? Well, because they weren't that great (I wrote them a while ago) and they featured, terror of terrors, a Mary Sue! Oh no! Granted, she's not a very bad Sue, but she is too Suey for my taste. I have ideas on how to fix the stories but I haven't been in the mood for Stargate Atlantis for a while now so until I am they will stay unchanged and not on my account. Savvy? Good. Moving on.

Halt Vs. Goat

My first Ranger's Apprentice story. It is very goofy fanfic, but I absolutely love it!! Set during or after book one, I guess. (One-shot)

Halt Kisses the Goat

Currently my favorite of my fanfics. All I'll say is there a some spoilers for books 7 and 8 of Ranger's Apprentice. (One-shot)

The Importance of Coffee

Another silly Ranger's Apprentice story! I like writing these. Set pretty much anytime during Will's apprenticeship. (One-shot)

Troublesome Bugger

My first Pirates of the Caribbean fanfic. It has an OC but that was pretty much required for the contest I created it for. It's got moral dilemmas and is much more serious than any of my other stories. But Jack's there so it does have some humor. Set after Curse of the Black Pearl but before Dead Man's Chest. (One-shot)

The 007 Job

My first published Leverage story. It's kind of goofy but it was fun to write. Serious spoilers for the Queen's Gambit Job. (One-shot)

The Princess Job

The first Leverage story I started writing. A friend once described it as "so sweet and syrupy." Tons of fun to write! (One-shot)
