5/30/2013 - I won't update my profile frequently so if you look at the profile, I finally am trying to reconstructing since I'm done with all the topsy turvy things and not worry for writing once a year. I still am planning to rewrite Path to Oblivion.

About me

Well, I will tell you just about basic stuff about me. My PenName is DarkQueenX9 but you may address me as Queenie. I'm human, obviously a female and my age has two digits. I joined this site almost 4 years ago and yet, it's amazing how I have few stories.

I write mainly in the Sonic category since I know what to write about in here since I have a feeling (my gut) that I'm not going to be well received, like if I was ever well received, but I will still write at my own pace. I do read many other categories, but really, I'm just up for reviewing since I barely had the time to write and yet it's a surprise I got this account.

My personality varies a lot, depending on who I talk to. I'm serious, but I don't bite. If you ever get a chance to actually talk to me, you will see what I mean. Writing is one of my main interests and it links up really well with listening to music and playing video games since it's these things that inspire me to write what I want.

Now, if you want to know a little about my favorite things, I'll be blunt. My favorite color is red, I love pizza with a lot of cheese and a lot of the video games that were around 1997 until 2003 related to Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. I'll take my time to say that I will talk about that part when I get there.

I'm also quite addicted to the games around that time when I was little, so you'll know more as you scroll down and I'm antisocial, though it doesn't stop me to answer to any reviews at all.

About my stories

I can write stories when I'm in the mood. I sometimes write one-shots or multi-chapters. Except you can't ask me to write a multi-chapter since I'll never finish. The reason to that still remains a mystery despite being here for so long. I sometimes pop by once in a while to write files on the computer and editing but publishing takes an eternity. As I write a piece, I have to write title and summary first because if I don't, I will get my writer's block. However, I do to the best of my ability to write as my time off lets me come up with ideas.

About my reviews

I review stories that mainly draw my attention and about the couples I support the most. Sure, that doesn’t mean I won’t review a Shadow/Amy fic for example. If I like the plot behind that story, I’ll gladly leave a nice review and if I want to know more, I add it to my author alerts. Now, if it is a one-shot, I mostly read the short story and then add it to my faves. And I review as long as I don’t forget. :)

About couples

I don’t really mind on what couple you write on any story. I never bash a couple you like just because I don’t like it. I know you all have your likes and I have my likes. I review on how realistic the story seems to me and I like to picture the story myself plus I try to motivate you into writing more, but I don't really care on what couple you write even if I were to dislike it. I don’t think it is fair to bash a story just because of the couple. I can understand if it is about the plot and how much improvement it needs, but it's pointless to just flame a story or not like it JUST because of the couple. And hence, pairing wars are dumb and pointless. I will just read and review and see where is the flaw.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Not the first series I was enamoured with, but it is a very interesting category, considering both Archie Comics and Sega. To be frank, I played Sonic Heroes and I dislike Team Rose. The only one I can honestly tolerate is Cream, but I can't tolerate Amy or Big. Or their personalities for that matter. In Archie Comics, Amy is okay in Personality and such, plus lately, she doesn't seem that clingy. No offense.

Here are my favorite characters and least favorite characters in general of the whole series:

Favorite Characters: Knuckles the Echidna, Shadow the Hedgehog, Blaze the Cat, Dr. Finitevus, Rouge the Bat

Least Favorite Characters: Dr. Eggman, Big the Cat, Chris Thorndyke, Amy Rose, Sally Acorn

Spyro the Dragon

Spyro is one amazing dragon, I can't deny that. However, I only like the original series. My friend showed me "The Lengend of Spyro" trilogy (I've seen the gameplay and witnessed it, plus seen it on YouTube so I know what I'm talking about) pretty much ruined the damn series. Even the spin-offs somewhat were tied to the original series by having a common foe but I don't know, Legend of Spyro has been by the worst voice acting ever, plus the addition of Cynder didn't help. Not that I hate her, but damn, if you played the original series like me, the young dragon DOESN'T fall in love nor shows a moment of weakness like in the trilogy. It makes me sick.

Skylanders is somewhat okay, but still doesn't tie to the original series, plus all they did was eliminate four characters which had a very amazing role in the third game of the series, Spyro: Year of the Dragon. All three originals are in the PlayStation Network store and I'm proud to say that the first three games are indeed amazing.

Crash Bandicoot

Crash Bandicoot isn't all that for me, but I've played the games as well. However, my favorite game in the Crash Bandicoot series is Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. It's a really great game to pass a bored day. Trust me, I tried. I was so bored I beat the whole game in the same day and stuck to playing it whenever I felt bored, and Crash Team Racing is okay. I got Crash Bandicoot: Warped and tried Crash Bandicoot, but they're not all that for me. I do have one of the spin offs of this game too, which was hard to beat and I enjoyed it very much.
