Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, and NCIS. Hi. I could say something personal but where would the fun of that be. So instead I'll make lots of random quotes. Yay quotes. Oh yeah. Before I get to the quotes, I found my avatar randomly online in a larger background and cut it out, so if its yours or randomly want credit for it, please email me. Now back to quotes. "Sirius... you are the only clever person I know who can successfully make everyone think they're completely daft." Remus aka Gaby Black in The Marauders' Notes “Oh, please, please don’t be in my house.” McGonagall continued to herself. “Well, at least I won’t get Black. He’ll be in Slytherin for sure; no Black has gone anywhere but Slytherin before, not even that nice Andromeda Black. And Lupin is a Ravenclaw if I ever saw, and Pettigrew is a shoe-in for Hufflepuff. And maybe if I’m really lucky, Potter will follow Black to Slytherin. After all, his mother was a Black, never mind the fact that no Potter has ever gone anywhere but Gryffindor. There’s no avoiding McKinnon, though. Every single person on each of her parents’ sides has been in Gryffindor as far back as I can remember.” Si fecisti nega! If you did it, deny it! “You can’t get him, Sirius.” Lily stated. “We actually want to get him back down here. We don’t want for both of you to be up there.” “Yes.” Their professor agreed. “And I also don’t want the deaths of two prominent pureblood heirs on my hands. I might get sued twice!” “Don’t worry about that.” Sirius said, waving his hand dismissively. “My mum won’t care if I die. Then Regulus will be heir to the Black fortune. It’s what she’s always wanted.” “But remember, Sirius,” Remus began, “Mr. and Mrs. Potter actually do like you. And, now that I think about it, they probably like James, too. Of course, they probably like you better than him, but still…it’s the thought that counts.” “Yeah.” Sirius agreed. “And you know, you’re parents like me better than you, too.” “They do not!” “Do too!” “Do not!” “Do too!” “Do not!” “Do too!” “Do not!” “If it makes you feel any better Remus, my parents like him better then me as well. I think it’s the whole My-Parents-Are-Psychotic-Purebloods-And-They-Hate-Me-Thing combined with the I’ve-Never-Been-Loved-Thing with a healthy does of puppy dog eyes.” Lily cut in. “And now if you’re quite done can you kindly get my boyfriend DOWN before he falls and kills himself?!” She asked in a dangerously high pitched shriek. Remus nodded looking scared and hurried to the back of the bus. He ascended the stair case to the roof of the Double Decker bus. SiRiUsLyPiNkaNdGrEeN in Muggle Studies “As for your hopes of a yelling match, Black, one might just happen if Mrs. Black continues to owl both Professor Slughorn and myself extraordinarily… opinionated… letters. However, you are in no way to encourage her writing simply for the joy of having her come home without a voice.” Professor McGonagall’s lips seemed to want to twitch upward. Sirius smiled innocently. “Of COURSE, Professor McGonagall!” Lily couldn’t help but feel slightly left out and as if she was missing something. It seemed as though Professor McGonagall wanted Mrs. Black to push her over the edge so that they COULD have a yelling match, which made absolutely no sense to Lily. McGonagall using that kind of deceit for a revenge of some sort just didn’t seem like her. Which led to another pang of exclusion; why would McGonagall be so angry with Mrs. Black in the first place? alittleinsane963 in The Teachers' Notebook Wow, Sirius! I’m impressed! The trolley has been in the hall for two minutes and 57 seconds and you haven’t noticed! FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!! I don’t know what I should worry about, Sirius wise. I just gave up altogether. I might, soon. Leave the worrying for McGonagall! Let’s go get some food! alittleinsane963 in The Teachers' Notebook “Remus, can I hit you?” Sirius asked. “If it’ll make you feel better…” Remus replied with a shrug. Sirius wound up, and swung at Remus’s gut. Lily gasped, but Remus showed no signs of pain. “Did it help at all?” “Hardly,” Sirius responded through gritted teeth as he rubbed his knuckles. “You need a little less muscle and a little more fat, Moony!” “I think we both know that it’s physically impossible for me to get fat.” Remus attempted a small smile. “What’s wrong with you all?” Lily suddenly snapped. “We just witnessed two people’s deaths and you’re making jokes?!” alittleinsane963 in The Teachers' Notebook I’m sure he’ll find a spell to regrow his hair in no time. With Lupin against him, he doesn’t stand a chance. The smarter ones always win. Black’s plenty smart. He just chooses not to act like it. …Which leads people to believe he’s unintelligent. Don’t you see the dilemma? alittleinsane963 in The Teachers' Notebook “Potter, are you drunk!?” “I'm not-I’m not drunk, I'm just int-into-introxicatsioneded by you.” “James! There you are! Oh Lily, of coarse, I’m sorry if James is bothering you we were just celebrating when James got lost.” “Really Remus, you’re a prefect! You can’t just let them get drunk whenever they want! What are you celebrating anyway?” Twinkie in 52 Pickup Lines That Will Not a Date Ernie felt his eyes widen. Susan had a crush on Snape? No. Couldn’t be. Couldn’t possibly be. He glanced down to where Susan was sitting, scratching away at her answer paper with a perfectly comfortable expression on her face. Well, perhaps not comfortable, but certainly not the expression that a sick and perverted would wear. Not the expression that someone who had… had… thosethoughts about Snape would wear. No. Not Susan. Couldn’t be Susan. It was probably… er… Sirius Black. Yes. That was it. Sirius Black had a crush on Snape. Back at school the two of them had a blistering affair or something. Ernie felt his eyes widen in horror as about a hundred images danced through his mind, each of them more depraved than the last. By the time Snape danced through his mind in a French maid’s costume he was seriously considering beating himself to death against the bench upon which he sat. As the consideration entered his mind he remembered the question he had been trying to answer when that depravity had attacked him. Blinking repeatedly in an attempt to clear the mental pictures, he jotted down that he would be a bench. After all, he reasoned, no matter what ill-treatment a bench had to suffer, at least it didn’t think things like that. He read on, hoping desperately to distract himself. Twisted Biscuit in A Quizzical Endeavour …Herself at age seventeen, hidden in the Quidditch supply closet. The robes of silver and green were cold and slightly damp from an earlier practice out in the foggy air of that cool November morning. Ted was unconscious in the hospital wing and she couldn’t bare to see him like that-- bruised and mangled because of her. Because SHE, a pureblood witch was dating a ‘filthy muggle’ as her so-called family liked to claim…it had only taken Sirius ten minutes to find her that time, but she suspected that was only because he had stopped to take care of Bellatrix’s wretched boyfriend and his crew of goons for cursing Ted so badly in the first place… Andromeda in Luminous Star in The Best Christmas Gift “Yes! You all SUCK at any form of organization!” The werewolf stood very suddenly, making the others jump. Remus turned to them. They couldn’t deny, he looked almost scary, his hair sticking up at different angles from hitting the table, a maniacal grin on his face and his eyes were wide and crazed. “Fine! I take this as a challenge! By the time I’m through with you miscreants, you’ll be the most organized students in Britain!” He let out an insane laugh that made him sound like a mad man. The other three gulped and paled slightly. Sirius turned to James. “I think we broke him…” James merely nodded mutely. Remus seemed to have ended his evil laughter and turned once again to his friends/victims. .But Friends Make Secrets in Symptoms of Insanity “Hah! Nice try Prongs, but you know the rules! I got him first!” The poor kid had a mixture of confusion and fear on his face. But, seeing as all first-years had learned early in the year not to oppose the Marauders, he obediently followed Sirius as he was dragged away. .But Friends Make Secrets in Symptoms of Insanity (I want to point out smart I think that kid is. Good Job nameless kid) "I'll share a little secret with you my dear Professor; I bribed Frank to take pictures of his reaction! Angela would love to see the mother’s reaction at her child’s birth!" James said laughing before he walked of. This left a very Minerva with very disturbing thoughts 'Someone in Hogwarts, most likely a student, was having a baby.' 'If I ever did anything,' agreed Regulus. 'But I mean, all of them need to go. You're right, as a civic duty. Sirius is insane, Potter is too self-righteous to live, Pettigrew's just creepy, and Lupin lets them all get away with murder.' Green Eyed Lady in Cupboardful of Slytherin Severus looked pained. “I didn’t think it was possible, but I think that your taste in Defense Professors is actually getting WORSE. Next thing you know, you’ll be hiring a bloody Marauder.” He laughed at the thought. Sarah1281 in Six Years, Six Applicants Regulus has to force the password out of some small Gryffindor, who only tells him because Sirius is with him. Bloody brave Gryffindors. He threatened to kill the kid and it didn’t do so much as wince. Same story with the Fat Lady. Damned woman wouldn’t let him in until Sirius nodded to her. And what do you think the Gryffindors do, when he finally gets through that bloody portrait? They corner them and refuse to leave until Regulus has promised not to hurt their Gryffindor prince. As if… Jente Bidernais in Broken Holy Merlin! Not only did the three most popular boys in school reject her, but so did their lackey, Peter! What was going on? She’s Mary-Sue. She’s perfect! Un Petit Diable in Look Who's Here He may not like his name, but it makes him seem less likely to be the one behind all the things that go wrong at Hogwarts. Sure, James may have gotten detention for a few things that Al did, but seriously…with a name like James Sirius Potter, who wouldn’t suspect him of wrongdoing? Albus Severus Potter in Rachelle Neveu in Next The other four just stared, as they often did when they were reminded that Sirius was actually brilliant. Lily was the first to recover. “That's what I thought. I'm going to talk to Professor Johnson about it.” Jack Ichijouji in The Marauders Present: How to Annoy a Misogynist There are some sights that a man will be haunted by for the rest of his life. For Professor Johnson, near the top of that list would be the four seventh-year boys who came into his classroom dressed in skirts, blouses, and high heels. No one laughed. It would have been better if someone had, to make it a joke or anything but real life. Perhaps most horrifying of all was the fact that, in the strictest sense, they didn't look bad. Jack Ichijouji in The Marauders Present: How to Annoy a Misogynist It was strange how he'd managed to form a friendship with Bill Weasley; on the surface, the two of them couldn't have been much more different. Though both were the product of old pureblood families, Sirius was a born rebel (traitor was the word his mother had used, but rebel sounded much more romantic) while Bill took pride in his family name and strived to make his parents proud. He'd been a brilliant achiever at Hogwarts, and had even left Gryffindor's Quidditch team in order to concentrate on his grades and on being Head Boy. Sirius, on the other hand, had been the type of rogue even Albus Dumbledore would not make a prefect, and had made even James' reckless streak look tame. He had done almost everything Bill would never even contemplate risking, and had earned the detentions to prove it. Meanwhile, Bill had been one of Hogwarts' best in nearly every category. Upon graduation, the oldest Weasley had gained easy admittance to the Aurors, having earned a position that Sirius had to fight to get. Robin4 in Promises Remembered This gets an explaination because the story takes place in serious (sirius) AU. Sirius was the secret keep for James and Lily, so they are still alive. At this point Sirius is head of aurors and just plain awsome. I highy recommend this fic because it is some of the best writing i have seen on this site. It is the second one in the seiries the first is Promises Unbroken. The Order’s leader blinked hard, saw the shock on James’ face. Sirius defending Snape? The world had to be ending. Robin4 in Promises Defended Remus is head of Order Draco stared at Harry. “You’re serious?” “No, I’m Harry,” Harry said before he could stop himself. Draco looked at him quizzically. “What-” “Never mind, moral obligation, you wouldn’t understand,” Harry said dismissively. Sarah1281 in Oh God Not Again! “Oh, you so don’t count,” Harry told him. “Besides, if you were any more responsible, you’d be on faculty.” “Whatever do you mean?” Percy asked him delicately. “Since Professor Black’s appointment, I was under the impression that there was no such criterion to teach here.” Sarah1281 in Oh God Not Again! “Don’t assume the guy your feeding love potions is in love with you and stop?” Lavender suggested. Seamus blanched and slowly started inching away from her.Sarah1281 in Oh God Not Again! 13. He learned that duct tape is not in fact like the Force. It has a light side and a dark side, sure, and it might hold the universe together, but in a dim basement and only having one hand to use it, it makes a lousy tourniquet. Especially since it doesn’t stick all that well to wet stuff. Still, it had made sense at the time. Lose enough blood and really, he supposed, anything would make sense. Colin Creevey in Thanfiction in 20 Random Facts About Colin R Creevey P: Prefect The perfect way to prank without getting detention. Who’s better at an alibi or canceling a prefect inflicted detention than another prefect? Case closed. Befriend a prefect. No Moony, were not using you. You just happen to be a bonus. - Padfoot laxaxfresh in The Ultimate, Yet Short Guide to being a Marauder “I’ve always wanted to see the Sahara desert,” Sirius mentioned. “Just wait a little longer, it’ll be my pleasure to send you there as soon as we get out of here,” Regulus said nonchalantly. Sirius looked at his brother suspiciously. “Why would you do something nice for me?” he asked eventually. Regulus looked surprised that Sirius would honestly want to go to the Sahara, but quickly recovered. “I’m trying to be a better brother, tell me when I succeed,” he answered cynically. Sirius nodded reluctantly, the suspicious look never leaving his face. The Future Through the Past's Eyes in Piscesfairy Though Salazar had no qualms with fighting for what he believed, he wasn’t enough of a fool to make himself a martyr. No, that would be Godric. Robin4 in Forget Me Not: A Story of Broken Promises For a nasty moment, Remus thought they were all about to die. He had always believed Sirius would eventually get them all killed and he felt mildly gratified to know he was right. His hand gripped tightly around his wand; he called to mind what spells might possibly help them. Ninjette in The Power Of Names As You can see most if not all of these quotes revolve around Sirius. Can you guess why? I suppose I should tell you something about me. Ships I am totally for (and perhaps the only one I'm totally for and never ever ever want to break up) is Lily and James because they are just meant to be. Perhaps it would be better to say what ships I'm against. James and/or Lily with anyone else forever (if they are doing to make the other jealous than I'm all for it), Sirius/Remus because Sirius is so not gay (but I will read good ones and have nothing against slash (in fact I'm going to quote (hehe) someone and say the best Sirius fics are Sirius/Sirius because he's funnier when he's single)), Ron/Hermione (cause she is way to good for him and I don't really like when people compare him (Ron) to Sirius so I want his(Ron's) love life to suffer), Harry/Ginny (same as R/H but without the Siriusness (hehe)), and any multigenerational fics when Hermione is shipped with either Sirius and/or Remus (though time travel is okay). Wow, I have opinions. Lucky me. If when your friend says, "Alice should bite Bella," you burst out laughing imagining crazy old Alice Longbottom launching herself at Bellatrix Lestrange, copy and paste this into your profile. If you hear voices of the characters in your head...copy and paste this on your profile. There's nothing wrong with arguing with yourself. It's when you argue with yourself and LOSE when it's weird. If you agree, copy this and put it in your profile. Do not meddle with the affairs of dragons. For you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup. If you secretly hoped to get a letter from Hogwarts when you were 11, copy and paste this to your profile. I still want one and I'm haven't been eleven for awhile. I am making a list of stories I totally recommand for every single person to read. These fics are all complete. They are all the best stuff I have read. Promises Unbroken by Robin4 Read this and its sequals. Possibly one of the best things I have ever read. Completely AU To Burn by Cupid_Painted_Blind Another awesome Sirius fic. depressing and i love it. Dumbledore's Army and the Year of Darkness by Thanfiction 7th year fic on what is happening at Hogwarts. Canon THIS IS NOW MY STAR TREK SECTION BE WARNED I REPLACE MY OBESSION WITH SIRIUS WITH ONE OF McCOY QUOTES Either way, on their first leave sophomore year Jim insists on meeting Joanna, and even though McCoy tries to leave him behind twice he somehow manages to smuggle himself into the backseat. McCoy grips the steering wheel the whole drive home — and he likes to drive, misses it when he's in space, the turning of the wheels and buzzing on his feet — and suffers through terrible images of Jim and Joanna, together, plotting the end of the world and succeeding. Then again, he imagines himself as a zombie eating his ex-wife's brain and feels a flash of satisfaction; he thinks this, and then realizes he's got to get rid of Jim before he starts thinking like him. dress without sleeves in World As We Know It Jim Kirk was known for his relationships: short-term, shorter-term, human, alien, strange, stranger. It wasn't until he met Leonard McCoy that 'long-term' was added to the list. Laying eyes on the Enterprise soon introduced 'mechanical.' In the end though, it all came down to 'numerical.' Still Waters in Six Problem: Your McCOY continues to loudly sing bad 80s hits such as "Doctor, Doctor" and "Like A Surgeon" in the shower, and it's interfering with your sanity. You've asked him to STFU in the shower, but he won't listen. Solution: Tell him that if you're going to let him sing in the shower, he has to read one page of "Twilight" for each time that he does it. Your problem will be eliminated in less than a week – guaranteed! SpirkTrekker42 in Doctor McCoy: Owner’s Guide and Maintenance Manual It had been two months and eleven days since his last day off. On a related note, it had been two months and eleven days since his last drink. Not that he was counting, of course. McCoy in Ultra-Geek in Shore Leave There are three rules of Sick Bay: Do as you're fucking told (Jim Kirk). Don't harass his nurses (Jim Kirk), because McCoy will find out and he will kill you. Don't get injured in the first place, you shipload of morons. put the fear of god in me, and that's a fact by dress without sleeves "She likes you, you know," he nattered on. "I can tell. I don't know what your problem is. I think you two would have a lot of fun debating which disease will kill you faster and whoa... I just had a mental picture of what your pillow talk might be like. Scary. Scary, but kind of hot." Kirk to McCoy in seren23 in The Feeling of Being in Motion Again Rand wonders who found these people and broke their normal reactions to terrifying situations bone. Janice Rand in home and the world by dress without sleeves As you can see I have long since moved past StarTrek:2009 and into SUPERNATURAL!!!! (A little obsessed maybe and totally and unconditionally a Dean girl) As well as DC Universe (mostly Nightwing. I love him so much I named my cat after him), A-Team (just a little), NCIS (again just a little. I really love the show but lately (and I mean 6 and 7 haven't gotten to 8 yet) its been not good), and most recently the Stargate Series mostly Atlantis but as I work my way through SG1, I'll get into those. If anyone has any suggestions for any story in any of the fandoms (or any other fandom (I am not above watching/reading an entire series just to read/understand a fanfic)) just PM me! |
