Something about myself?

Well, I love to read (an unabashed fan of fanfiction for 3 years and longer). I only read Harry Potter fanfic so far, hope I can widen my scope in the future.

I also like to write but never dare to post any story before because of my poor english (English is not my mother tougue), so do pardon me if you spot any spelling or grammar mistake. I often envy those who can write well and will try to give my review to show I that appreciate their story(s).

The ideas that I got for my story usually come from many of the wonderful and awsome stories that I have read (can be found under my 'favorite stories'). Sometime I read so much that I dreamed about them. Very often, part and pieces from these stories would come together, got twisted and formed another 'new story' in my dreams (lol silly, i know). So you might find my story is quite cliche in some part.

I do hope to get some reviews from you. Your reviews will tell me if I'm on the right track or am I boring you so I can improve on it. If you have some great ideas, I also hope you can share it with me (thanks in advance) :)

Here are my favorite pairing, starting with the one I like most:

Tom(Voldemort)/Harry (cool pairing of good/bad, black/white, enemy/foe)

Draco/Harry (hmm... school rival pairing. I often wonder about the way Draco would gloat Harry, didn't they say that boys usually bully the one they like best...??? muhahahaha...!)

Harry/Hermione (I could never understand why someone as clever as 'mione would fall for Ron who is a git and often made her upset)

Fenrir/Harry (it was the mate thingy that made me read this pairing... lol)

Here are the pairing I hate/dislike very much/find it unacceptable:

Sirius/Harry or Remus/Harry (the former is his godfather and the latter is his uncle, a father-like figure, both pairing are incestuous)

Albus/Harry (oh please, spare me the mental image and a queasy stomach)

Harry/Ginny (I've always thought Ginny was too... anyway, i just don't like her pairing up with Harry)

My first story: Drowning a sinking ship

The ideas has been circulating in my head for quite sometime before I finally get to write it out. The plot came to me when I was lying in my bed, getting ready to sleep. My mind has this habit of daydreaming (or nightdreaming in this case :3) before sleeping and for many nights, the ideas keeep adding until I can't ignore it any longer. At first I hestitate 'cos I know my english was not that desirable... so it took much of debating with myself before I give in to the plot bunny. lol

It all started out becos I don't really like Dumbledore (even the one in the canon) so i think 'why not make him as evil as I can?' and what better way than making him the culprit behind all the misery.

I'm wanted to show how Harry and Marvolo (Tom) fall in love becos they like each other and not becos of the mate bond (even though it play a part in it). I hope I have achieved that in my story.

I tried to keep Marvolo's character as close to how a dark lord was suppose to be, yet I have this tendency to make him to be a big protector to his mate(Harry). Always indulging him with attention, being possessive... but only to his mate, he is still a big bad guy to others.

I don't like the character of the original Harry, he was led by the nose, alway going along with the flow of the events and never smart enough to turn the tide around to his favor. I intend not to do that to my Harry :3

As for the weird title... it will be explain in the later chapter, so... yeah *sheepish grin*
