Author has written 10 stories for Winx Club, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Kane Chronicles, Sisters Grimm, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Fairy Tail. While I'm sure you've guessed it, I will no longer be available on . You can still find me on wattpad under writerintraining101. I've had good memories here, but I have no drive to update stories on here any longer. Thank you, everyone, for making it worthwhile to write here. Out of all the names I'm called, I think that my favorite name would have to be 'Layla'. So do me that favor and call me that, 'kay? If I had kept all of my stories during the period of time I've been on , I would probably have somewhere around twenty stories. Many of them have deleted over a period of time. Some I will always remember, while others will be lost in my memories. Kind of sad, huh? As for my writing... Fanfiction is merely a place to practice my writing. That was my intention over three years ago, when I first joined. Wow, kind of nostalgic, now that I think about it...thanks to this, I'd like to think my writing has improved over the years, but I still enjoy writing out stories on here. My biggest hope is to publish a bestselling novel, perhaps a series. But until then, I'm genuinely hoping that on here, my writing can improve. So, that's what this is. Practice, practice, practice. Despite this, I do try and do my best at writing. I know I'm no genius at it, but I do enjoy writing the little ideas I get from time to time, and I hope you guys enjoy reading them. Most of my older stories have me saying things like 'LOL' in ANs, and chapters will be very, very short. I am extremely embarrassed about that, and I hope I can correct those mistakes in time. As for now, I write chapters that are much longer and hopefully much better. Due to how I used to write, my policy is to write a chapter about 1,000 words or over. Except for the first chapter...I can never make the first chapter (usually a prolouge) over a thousand! Grrr! ...but anyway, I make a chapter as long as I can. The longest chapter I've written is over four thousand words (Renegade Rebels, Chapter 9). Well, if you're still willing to continue, I'll share some pointless facts about me! My favorite color is blue and red I'm freaking addicted to sweets. I like other foods too, of course, but...sugar. My favorite sport is soccer. I'm not good at it, but I still like it! *thumbs up* And just recently, I have joined my school's cross country team. My favorite animals are dogs. I love my dog, Rocky. :) I have many nicknames, though the most common one that those on the internet have referred to me is 'Layla'. And that ends my list of pointless things. Wait. *le gasp* There's more?! In that case, continue reading. I am a book addict and proud of it! If you are as well, then copy and paste this on your profile page. Genres and How I Feel About Them: Humor/Parody: Who honestly doesn't love a good humor fanfic, or just a plain stupid one? I know I love 'em! I've been told that I'm actually pretty funny (Thanks, guys!) This is one of my favorite genres to write for, so you probably see a lot of this in my writing (whether it's funny or not...you'll be able to tell my poor attempts at it) Action/Adventure: Probably one of my favorite genres in a story. For me, I prefer an action story to many other things *shrugs* Just what I feel. I know that I should include a lot of details so people can get a visual of what I'm talking about in their heads, but if I try to get into too much detail, then that's exactly what you're gonna get. Way too much detail. Horror: Seeing as I've never tried to write a horror story, I don't really know how it would turn out. It probably wouldn't be the best, but at least I can do suspence! :D Angst/Hurt/Comfort: I've never written these two, and I highly doubt I ever will. I tend to avoid these kinds of stories, because then I end up depressed for the rest of the day. So, yeah. I'm a pansy like that. Sci-Fi: Seeing as I'm not much of a fan of this, I don't really write for it. But if there is a good sci-fi fanfic out there, then I will read it :). I just probably couldn't write for it. Mystery: If I tried to write something like Nancy Drew, or anything that has to do with 'code', I'd probably fail. But I can do some suspence, as I've said before. Romance: Ah, yes, romance. When I was younger, I hated the thought of it, but now I have a mild tolerance of it. I will read a good romance story, so long as it has a plot. I do hint at couples in my writing, though I don't do direct scenes like "and then he kissed her and proposed to her". If you know me, then you know that I'm usually very harsh and critical about stories tat are pure romance or love at first sight; nuh-uh, I don't work that way. I'm honsetly not that much of a romantic, so directly doing this is kind of awkward. I apologize if I don't do something purely romance, but honestly, unless the story has a plot, I won't really do this genre. Ratings: K: Yeah, okay. K Plus: I'm good with that. T: This is the main rating I do. So, why wouldn't I? M: HAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAAHA! Yeah...no. Not on your lives. Sorry. (that's just in terms of writing lemons. I don't generally use a whole bunch of swear words, or heavy graphic content, so yeah, don't be expecting this). And that pretty much concludes my profile. Awesome, right? BYE. -Layla |
