![]() Author has written 5 stories for Hunger Games, Mortal Instruments, and Transformers.
Amara has her own website!! http:// Check for updates on her writings! (AKA- Stalk the SHIT out of me there) Note: My most popular fiction "Guide to Writting a successful SYOT" has been removed because it violates the "Interactive, chat/script, real person, mst, etc." rule. Therefore with this bullshit whatever nonsense, the fiction has been moved to my website under the archives tab for you all to see. Thank you :) Amara Kingley Updates
1. Release date set for August 2, 2012 for Part One: Beginning of the End (4/26/2014 Update: Amara has recently picked this fiction back up and has no further updates as to when part one will be released. Amara aims for Part One to be released by Fall but cannot confirm.) 2. Part II: Rebellion release aimed for Spring of 2015 The Pain of the Children [DISCONTINUED] Questions I have been Asked: -What's your inspiration for writing? I use past experiences, and I'm starting to run out of those. My inspiration honestly is my little sister. She may be 13 now but her imagination has not diminished. Sometimes just watching her gives me an idea. She also proofreads my work and tells me if it's good or not. Sometimes she'll give me ideas on where to take characters and plot ideas. I do write passed on my own experience but I tend to only use those as details. I'll add characteristics of people I know and events I witness. Most credit goes to my sister :) To fully answer your question, look at the world around. Take a simple scenario in the mall or even at school and spin it 5 different ways. Whatever sounds more interesting works best for a piece of fiction. -How do you get over writer's block? I get writers block a lot actually. It sucks but we all get it. Usually what I do is a blast music and that will get me into a mood to write something. Other times I take a break from writting for a few hours up to a week. Then I go back to my writing an I can usually think of something. If I am absolutely stumped and I have no idea what to write, I ask others for ideas. I may not use their ideas at all but it helps get my mind going. I also map out possible scenarios and how i can take the story; sometimes that may be the source of my writers block. After i map it out i can usually eliminate the cliche ones and work with the others until i get a good route. | |||||||
