Pet Peeves: Whenever I read something there are always a few things that bug me if done poorly such as grammar and spelling but the one thing that truly annoys me whenever I’m reading is character bashing. Now don’t get me wrong I’ve got a few characters that I’d like to see die a painful death (we’ve all got a few) but that doesn’t mean everybody hates them (as much as we’d rather not admit it they do have fans… somewhere). All bashing does is make your story unprofessional and, in many cases, unreadable (not to mention anyone who likes the character you’re bashing will be immediately put off and will most likely stop reading your story altogether). Advice: If I could give one piece of advice to everyone who wants to start writing this would be it: Make sure you write something that you enjoy writing. Don't write something because you think you'll get lots of reviews, because it will never hold your interest and odds are, before too long you'll stop writing. Ask yourself what kind of story you want to write and focus on that. Not only will you enjoy yourself more, but your writing will reflect that and your readers will be able to tell. Rather than use my profile to store increasingly outdated personal information I have since decided to use this as a place where people can come check on the progress of any of my stories that they happen to be following. Because let's face facts, that's the real reason any of you are here, isn't it? While I’m not sure if I can write a story good enough to do it justice I’m going to give it my all. That being said it is going to be a while before I’m ready to start posting this one. X A Final Fantasy 15 Story No real clue what this ones going to be about yet because I'll need to play FF15 before I can work out a plot but the game looks awesome and I want to write about it. X Final Fantasy (7/13)/RWBY Crossover Before you panic this is not going to be a multi crossover. I've never been a fan of those and don't plan to start writing one any time soon. The reason both 7 and 13 are listed in the title is because I have the basic premise for the story finalized (Basically a character from FF gets reborn as Jaune Arc) but I'm not certain if I want that character to be Cloud from FF7 or Snow from FF13. The story will work either way (Granted, some details will be different) and I like both characters so I don't know which one to choose. |
