Two incidents that start in a similar way but end ver differently

Four months ago the ambulance came. I was sitting on the landing with my brother playing marbles when it happened and I remember. DIAG from an outsider's perspective.

Set in 1992. Can Bodie and Doyle have private happiness and still be in CI5? During an operation a line is crossed, making them consider their hallowed ground. With more than themselves to think about, others, just as single-minded, will decide. It may help the context of this story if you were to read 'Payback' first.

A weakness, in spite of your strength, can lead to your downfall. But it also takes a lot of strength to allow yourself to be vulnerable. This story was two thirds written at the time of Lewis' passing. I couldn't look at it for a long while but it kept nagging at me to be finished. 'Achilles' Heel' has been more than a year in the writing but I finally got there.

Doyle comes back from injury leave, fit and ready for work, only to find that his partner, Bodie, seems to have disappeared without trace. What has happened ?

*Warning - Spoilers and depictions of violence*. This is set around two months after the events of Discombobulate and is about coming back from that place and learning to accept the past.

When Bodie is knocked out during a bar fight he wakes up to find Doyle gone. Cowley is strangely unresponsive on his disappearance and Bodie vows to uncover what happened. Is Doyle in danger? Is Cowley involved or is the truth far more insidious than Bodie thinks? Most of all, what happened that night?

Bodie faces a no-win scenario.
