It started with a Bug and an abstract mutter. It ended with kisses flavored with blood, cold blades and bite marks, drugged confessions and a twisted love that was never meant to be, unless, of course, it was. Raphael opens his heart to what he thinks is an equally broken spirit and pays for it tenfold. Meanwhile, others simmer and scheme against a backdrop of ugly truths.

Raphael races to save his brother, who has been ambushed by Bebop and Rocksteady. He learns that a split second can be the difference between life and death. A 2012 universe story inspired by IDW's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles issue #44.

Death isn't peaceful. There's no calmly whispered last words or "peaceful passings" in the real world. The real world is dirty and gritty. Life is messy and fast-paced. Death is even more so. There is no such thing as an "honorable" death. Death is loud and painful and messy and desperate. (Not a deathfic; rated for blood/injury; all turtles, largely Leo-centric; art by Sneefee)

He forced his legs to move one in front of the other across the dew laden lawn. Even though he'd only visited the spot once, his feet still remembered exactly where to go, and as he approached his destination at the edge of the trees, he felt his body go numb. It's funny how some of the things we take for granted are the very things that connect us on a deeper level.

Raphael wanted revenge for all the pranks in the past. So, with the help of a friend he gives his 'Baby Brother', what he thinks is the best prank ever. Only to realize the mistake he made in the end. Human AU; Fluff.

As if trying to fit in with the real world wasn't hard enough, try trying to fit in when you're a mutant turtle. It took awhile, but we finally figured out that mutants and humans just couldn't be romantically involved. I accepted it, but I found an alternative. Sadly, that alternative was looking me dead in the eye while having no idea about the things I thought towards him.

You never know what happens behind the curtain, or who the freaks really are. Very, very dark drabble. Mentions of Adult content. Little children would not approve.

When our loved ones aren't their anymore, wouldn't it be wonderful if they would still watch over us? Make sure we're all safe and sound? That they can see what we have accomplished in our lifes? If they could just hear us?
