If you've ever gotten a hold of the A:TLA unaired pilot episode, you'd know things. You'd know about how the Avatar State was reworked and how Katara almost wasn't Katara and about a certain prince's pet that never made it off the cutting-room floor.

All Prince Zuko ever wanted was to be free of the suffocating confines of his underwater palace - to experience life as it was supposed to be experienced, full of love and loss and excitement. Definitely NOT on his bucket list was getting stranded on some peasant jerk's fishing boat, and neither was falling in love with him. (Modern Mermaid Aladdin AU Sokka/Zuko)

"She's not gonna make it," what if Zuko was right? At the beginning of The Southern Raiders, Azula falls from her blimp but saves herself, but what if she didn't? What if she couldn't hold on? Can team avatar handle holding Azula captive with the comet fast approaching? Will Zuko notice that his sister is unraveling? Could Azula have been saved, before she fell?

Saitama becomes aware of his growing feelings for Genos, but he's not exactly sure how to handle it.

Zuko's fate could have diverged either way on many occasions. Under the catacombs. At the North Pole. On the day of Sozin's Comet. But when the scale tips the other way the day it all started, the day of the Agni Kai, he finds that destiny is not done with him just yet.

Saitama touches Genos in a way that only Genos would allow, because it's his teacher. No pairings.

Genos was visibly shaken, small beads of sweat covering his face, his body quivering as he still gripped the hoodie to his chest, and oh wait- he was turned on! Saitama gulped down a lump in his throat, suddenly realizing the level of the situation. "Genos...were you sniffing my clothes?"

It was a strange phenomenon, witnessing an eye covered in burn tissue develop dark circles. It was obvious Zuko wasn't sleeping well. But there was a war going on, and it was up to five teenagers to save the world; no one was really getting a proper amount of rest. Possibly readable as a one-shot; rating will go up eventually.

And it hits him, all at once, that the Avatar- that Aang- is twelve. A child.

Toph did say that she would get back at Zuko for burning her feet. At the Western Air Temple, Toph cashes in her request by making Zuko give her a foot massage. However, when Sokka is next in line for a massage from the firebender, things get just a little steamier. Oneshot. Zukka

Aang is just an average, ordinary main character in a high school drama, until he meets someone who can create flames with the power of his mind. Modern day AU with scifi elements. Stage 15: Zuko moves in. Shenanigans ensue.

Zuko gets fed up with Katara's bland cooking and decides to cook his own food after an argument. The suspense is horrible and Sokka gladly eats Zuko's food while Katara is angry with them both.

"He didn't deserve it. It was his fault. He couldn't cry. He wouldn't. That would make it hurt. That would make it real. 'Of course we'll take him. He'll be safe here…' What a lie. Nowhere was safe." When the world turns upside down, the only thing left to cling to is hope. When that is gone, pray there is someone to catch you as you fall. Modern. Oneshot series. Ophanage AU.

Disillusionment comes in many forms. In a world where Zhao decides to take a more personal involvement in the young prince's murder, and Zuko receives proof that such an assassination attempt could not happen without the Fire Lord's approval, his journey to capture the avatar comes to a painful, premature end.

Even the best laid plans go awry. What about the worst? Zuko only ever wanted to do the right thing; still does. But now, the Avatar approves! So why is he still following Azula and burning villages? Au diverging after season 2. Of destiny, dragons… and big-ass water snakes.

After the members of the Gaang fall deathly ill from a Fire Nation poison, Zuko sneaks into town to steal a rare antidote. But when he's caught by bounty hunters, it's up to Sokka to save him. A rescue mission isn't quite so simple though, and time is running out... for everyone. Takes place during Season 3.

Post-Western Air Temple. Zuko and Sokka enjoy a cup of tea together.

After the Agni Kai, Zuko felt betrayed by his father and lashed out... and ended up in the Boiling Rock. Enter Sokka, looking for his father and getting a culture clash as well. Eventual Sokka/Zuko.

Set later in the night during the episode The Ember Island Players. Zuko opens up about his past and Sokka is there to listen...and give a surprising offer. Sokka and Zuko brotherly bonding fic, because these two together are just awesome.

After a battle gone wrong, Prince Zuko finds himself stranded, hideously and helplessly injured, and the only person around or willing to help him is the Avatar. This is a story of conflict, compassion, and understanding, as the two boys each learn to appreciate the other's motives. (There may be some Zutara content in the future! But for now it just deals with Aang and Zuko.)

Dragon's fire is not so easily extinguished; when Zuko rediscovers a lost firebending technique, shifting flames can shift the world... Follows "Theft Absolute".

Zuko is trying to figure out how to join the Gaang when he is interrupted by an unexpected and unwelcome visitor. AU set after the Gaang arrives at the Western Air Temple. An alternate way Zuko could have joined the group.

What really happened between Sokka and Zuko aboard that war balloon bound for the Boiling Rock? Contains scenes of M/M and plenty of awkwardness.

The Ozai Loyalists are brutal and ruthless, and out for blood. You have to watch your back, and can't turn a blind eye or deaf ear, not even for a second.

Sokka and Zuko find that their odd friendship has unanticipated consequences, and both make choices that will effect one another and the new world order.

Zuko stated once that he was taught by the way of the swords by Piandao since he was a kid. Also, he had to have some training in ruling a nation, or maybe even with his duties as the Crown Prince. He tells his troubled childhood to his friends, partly because it was a request. And partly because...well, you'll need to find out for yourself.

Book 3. Sokka/Zuko. Set in the Western Air Temple after the comic 'Swordbending.' Sokka is full of bad ideas, and challenging to Zuko to a sword duel is one of them. Quick banter, angry arguing, and pent up feelings abound, culminating in a final swordbending match - if Sokka wins, then maybe he has a shot of being more than just a friend with Zuko.

AU "I tried to heal him, but it was too strong. Sozin's Comet amplified its strength. It boiled his blood. He was gone before I could even attempt." The Agni Kai takes a turn for the worst. One week later Aang takes a trip to the Spirit World to gain some closure. ONESHOT

Book 3. Sokka/Zuko. Set after The Boiling Rock Pt. 2, Sokka and Zuko explore the Western Air Temple, where Sokka tries to get Zuko to talk about girls, marriage, and maybe even a future for the two of them.

In order to fully understand a man, you must first walk a mile in his shoes. Sokka and Zuko are going to find that out the hard way.

A trip to a nearby herbalist to get medicines for an ill Iroh helps the ‘GAang’ gain a better understanding of each other. But this newfound trust is tested when trouble comes to town.

The weight of destiny hangs heavily on the shoulders of Aang and his friends. They decide to seek guidance at the Eastern Air Temple, but the answers are closer, and further, than they realize.

Aang and his companions return to Ba Sing Se, only to find a most unpleasant surprise. Continuation of 'The War Barge' and 'The Battle of Chameleon Bay'

Follow up to 'The War Barge'. The gang must try to take back Ba Sing Se while Aang and Zuko come to terms with their respective destinies.
