Are we really surprised that it's been over a year since I updated my profile? Yeah nuh. Where have I been, might you ask? Work, long periods of staring at blank walls searching for inspiration, and slaying my own emotional demons, I guess. But it took me out of the game for far longer than I'd like- I looked up and realized, an entire YEAR? REALLY?!? And my poor stories! 'Touched' has been vying for my attention for months and months and like a negligent parent I've shushed it back tot he recesses of my poor addled brain. But no more. Time to let that inspiration run wild again. Many apologies- from the other side of this I must look like an awful person. But I think I've got the jump start I need to get back in the game. So please read! And review! And read it again! I'm really glad there are some folks out there who see the email alerts come up and return faithfully. It's more than I could ask for and more than I deserve.

Yeah, so, it should be pretty well established that I SU U U UCK at updating my profile. Just deleted stuff left on here from 2008, and I've had this profile for even longer than that (shudders at how old that makes me). I blame my job- I work in medicine, and back in January made a huge switch in specialties. I'm loving it! But there was a learning curve- with new techniques and procedures to learn. Now I've settled in nicely and am starting to feel right at home. It's time to pick up the computer again and get back to one of my favorite past-times: writing.

So out comes a new chapter of 'Touched' for your reading pleasure. Folks who have been following this tale since 'Afterthought' will hopefully be glad to see it re-emerge. My fondness for the character of Tatsuki Arisawa hasn't waned, so don't doubt that there is plenty of motivation to continue writing for this kick-ass chick! I have several other plot bunnies beyond 'Touched' that refuse to let go. So hopefully there's plenty more to come. Much better. Many thanks.

Wow, after a short unintentional hiatus because of my laptop I'm excited to get back into some writing. My poor little laptop fell and the screen cracked, and after 18 days in a computer hospital across the country (from East to West coast!) he came home!... with a surprise! "Um, what happened to my harddrive? It was fine before it left. Where are my stories?!? Where is Microsoft office? and my iTunes? and my antivirus software? and my other files? and did I mention that my stories are missing?!?" Yay for external harddrives!!!! And while he was gone I was inspired to take pen to paper and create an even more prolific story map for 'Touched'- it's gonna be great _ So stick along for the ride, and I've been brainstorming some other fun Bleach stories. I've had a couple of PM's about my long-forgotten S-Cry-Ed story. Perhaps I'll pick that up again one day, too.
