What I really love about Harry Potter is not necessarily the books, which are brilliantly crafted, but more the universe that was created and the endless possibilities from it. J.K. beautifully left the door open for all explores to wonder in, add their own ideas and see what happens. I really love the potential bred from this, not only because some stories on Fanfiction are truly great, but because of the diversity of these great ideas. To tell a story well is one of the most difficult arts on the planet and can take years to get to grips with before you can even have a chance at expressing the ideas and visions that are frothing forward. This is why I really respect well thought out and well told stories on here. There's nothing like a story that, without you knowing, draws you in right from the beginning. This is becoming harder and harder with a lot of areas of HP fanfiction already having been covered. But I doubt it'll ever be impossible. Call it the presence of magic or the possibilities Rowling created, but in our HP universe, there's room for infinite expansion, and for that I'm nothing if not excited.
