What if Thatch had found the Yami Yami fruit two years earlier? Instead of being killed by Black Beard he ends up kidnapped, along with a certain flame user's little brother. Still distrustful of his new crew Ace is reluctant to ask for help. Through his efforts to save Luffy the Whitebeard crew gets a better understanding of who Ace is and what he's willing to do for family.

The coffee shop that had become Law's second home just closed and he was forced to find another one to survive. In between all the madness that is college, he found himself tangled with his barista's personal life, his dog and his really bad food puns as if he didn't have enough of his own problems already. The subject of time is different for everyone. For Ace, he had been trapped too long on the Moby Dick. For the Whitebeards, 78 days had been way too short. The ASL brothers move to the Grand Line much earlier than in Canon!verse due to problems at home. After a few years, they meet up with the Whitebeard Pirates and Ace is kidnapped after the fight.
