anonymousme chapter 1 . 12/11/2018 :) nice. i like this, and in my opinion characters from the silver chair r ignored way 2 often. not that i don't like the Pevensies though... and anyway, your oc isn't mary sue ish, i'd like 2 c how the conversation over the color green went, and could u please make a sequel? |
Hannah Lynn McDonald chapter 1 . 8/27/2014 "You're eyes are green." |
Ashleigh2016 chapter 1 . 1/18/2013 That is so good. We always here the enchantment stuff with Edmund, but no one seems to think about how Rilian would be effected. Absolutely brilliant, and the end was so sweet. Loved the fun fact. God Bless, Ashleigh |
Brigid Dove chapter 1 . 11/13/2011 I think you did very well writing an OC character. I have wondered about who Rilian wed, and this is a very nice idea to think about :) I have not reviewed any of your other work, but I really enjoy your stories. The way you explain Peter's anger in the P.C. movie is a very good way to think about it. I really did not like the PC movie, mostly because of how they changed Peter from who he was in the book. I mean, he is an adult even if he does look like a child... Any way, thanks for writing. Sincerely yours, Brigid Dove |
Flavio S chapter 1 . 9/5/2011 Interesting story. But I wonder how did they had children? |
Crazy Dyslexic Nerd chapter 1 . 6/23/2011 My sister is looking at me strange for laughing. He gas green eyes! That was perfect. -Dyslexic Nerd |
Susan M. M chapter 1 . 4/15/2011 No, Melia is NOT a Mary Sue, and she makes a good consort for Rilian. I liked the line about him being "one mandolin solo away from going mad." But with Rilian's mother a star's daughter and Rilian's wife an ash-tree nymph, I think it might be good idea (genetically speaking) for his daughter-in-law to be full human. |
Berserker Nightwitch chapter 1 . 1/9/2011 Trivia bit at the end was fun. I also found it amusing that his advisors thought he'd be re-enchanted upon encountering the color green, and - in a sense - that's what happened. Some do say that falling in love is like being put under a spell, and Melia was wearing green... Probably not a point you were trying to make, but I had to point it out. Thanks for sharing! |
s. du jour chapter 1 . 10/15/2010 Hey, nice! I love your style of humour :) And Malia wasn't a Sue :) I have a couple of wording suggestions that don't quite seem to fit the setting... ~My actions were not fitting for a King of Narnia that I should be so inconsiderate to one of my subjects.~ ~If I may say so, Your Majesty seemed rather preoccupied with your thoughts, for which I cannot fault a king with much to do.~ The wording of these two sentences is very laborious. ~Yes, well, my advisers were being a littleā¦overbearing~ That 'Yes, well,' is more modern than the rest of the style of the story. Ditto when Melia says 'Um'. But my wording issues (yes, I have no life, you can say it :D) are just confined to that little section there-overall I really enjoyed your story! |
CherylSongbow chapter 1 . 11/9/2009 Creative, humorous, and absolutely wonderful! |
LadyoftheShield chapter 1 . 9/18/2009 Where'd ye find that out about the Meliae? Snicker. Dumb court. |
Aravir Theophila Morningstar chapter 1 . 8/19/2009 Beautiful tale, Lirenel. I am having quite a pleasant time reading your store of wares. Do keep writing! I must agree with you though on your ending. As you said in your note at the bottom, the ending /was/ a bit rushed. Should you ever convince your self to add a bit onto the end it might make the transition slightly smother. |
Shadow-ofthe-Night35 chapter 1 . 6/28/2009 no, i like the last paragraph. I think it's funny, like the rest of the story. Funny, wonderful, and truly a Narnian thing to do-ban green. *giggle* Briliant, again Shadow |
RandomDream chapter 1 . 6/10/2009 Somewhat crack, but incredibly funny and smart. :) Thanks. |
Artemis1000 chapter 1 . 3/19/2009 It's lovely! Funny and sweet at the same time. You don't need to worry about Melia being a Mary Sue at all, she's such a wonderful original character that I wish she were canon, if only so I'd get to read more about her. |
