Author has written 52 stories for Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Outsiders, Thief Lord, Peter Pan, Les Misérables, Newsies, Lord of the Rings, Robin Hood BBC, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Firefly, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Warcraft, Avengers, Mistborn Trilogy, Twilight, and Pacific Rim. Wendy: It is my unfulfilled ambition to write a great novel, in three parts, about my adventures. A few notes about me: Hello, my name is Shadow, and if you've been here before, you'll notice I have a penchant for redoing this page. Often. --I write and read a variety of fandoms (usually books, movies and TV shows) that almost all happen to be of the fantasy/sci-fi genre. My favorites are Narnia, Doctor Who/Torchwood, Harry Potter, Robin Hood, Supernatural, the Avengers, and anything Joss Whedon creates (not necessarily in that order). But you'll also find me reviewing across a myriad of other works, not listed here as it would take up too much space. --College has recently decided to take over my life, and I haven't written anything non-school related in months. And when I was writing non-school stuff, it was one of the many original works I'm currently in the middle of--my low fantasy series, my zombie apocalypse novel, the one about hell... But if I get my butt off of Tumblr, I do, in fact, have time to write. So, hopefully I can find my way back into Narnia, or spend some time in the Impala or the TARDIS, or hook up with some SHIELD agents, or work on some Warcraft backstories, or just write something... This is a goal that I have. Oh, Tumblr, what have you done to me? --"I do believe in fairies! I do! I do!" My profile image is one of Nene Thomas's amazing faeries. Check out more of them at . A few notes about some of my stories: --Finding Sunlight is my first, and my worst, and should be taken down in disgrace. Really, it's truly horrifying, 13-year-old, Mary-Sue drivel. Please, do not judge the rest of my writing by it. Because it's one of two stories over four chapters that I have ever actually finished, it's staying. However, some of the other stories I wrote back before I could write, I have removed from here, because honestly, I don't want to read them, you don't want to read them, and they don't need to be taking up space below. --No Pain is probably the first story I ever wrote that could be considered fanfic. It was a school assignment; my eighth grade English teacher, who was absolutely amazing, had us rewrite the ending of the Outsiders from a different character's pov...mine was six pages long and made the whole class cry when my teacher forced me to read it out loud. It stays up here because it is the reason I have a FF account and even write fanfic at all. --Chocolate and Peppermint is supposed to have a companion fic that details Izzie's background story, but my characters have gone on strike. They don't realise that everything turns out right in the end. Though they should--I mean, have they read Chocolate and Peppermint? ;) If you PM me, I'll give you the basic plot line, as it doesn't seem I'll be actually writing it soon (if ever). --Explosions, Promise, and Ashes of Our Youth are gift-fics for Russet022, and all three are RemusOC (the OC is Russet's character Tilia). All three are also spin-offs of Russet's story Bound by Moonlight. You do NOT have to have read BBM to read my oneshots. However, if you really want to know Tilia, and read a really, really wonderful RemusOC story, then read BBM. It's amazing (and I'm not saying that just because she's my sister :D). --WARNING: Neutralization is a CRACKFIC. It is also unfinished. It WILL eventually be finished, but it's going to take me a while. I have it all planned out, I know who or what is killing whom, it's just the, you know, forcing myself to write it that's taking a long time. But worry not, it will get written. :) --My Narnia stories are my favourite ones, and probably my best ones too. Most of them are not associated with my 1-Word Challenge List, as that’s a fairly recent thing. The ones that are usually say so in the summary. These are the stories that convinced me that I could write: CS Lewis is the reason I am a writer (or am trying to be one). These are the ones that inspire me to keep going. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them. Look for more Narnia stories soon. --My World of Warcraft stories are all part of a project I'm working on, which is the collective backstories of my characters. The stories don't follow any chronology, and are not a comprehensive narrative of each character; they're vignettes. Anyway, the unfinished and ever-growing collection is called Survivor's Guild (only a letter away from "survivor's guilt"...), and the characters that will probably all make appearances are: Oryane Harrow, human hunter (my main; she will be in most stories...) Elarien Hawksong, blood elf hunter A few notes about stories I actually am working on, I promise, I am: --World Without which is about Rory during Pandorica Opens/Big Bang. It starts with his time as a Roman and continues through his 2,000 year wait and will probably stop at the wedding. It's 25 pages, currently, with no sign of being finished anytime soon. But I am working on it, slowly. --An untitled Firefly fic about Mal and his relationships with each crew member and his ship. --A Buffy the Vampire Slayer AU, where an OC comes in and changes season 7. Less Buffy pep talks, more character deaths... Eventually, this will get written, I hope, maybe... --A story set in the Supernatural 'verse, about a hunter searching for her sister. I've yet to decide if she ever actually meets the boys... --Budapest. And other Clintasha fics, many and varied. --A (hopefully-longer-than-a-one-shot) ClintxOC. I've written bits and pieces if this, but it still needs a lot of work. But it's getting there. --The last four chapters of Neutralization. Esme, Alice, Bella, and Jacob...and possibly a bonus chapter or two, since you've all been waiting for years for this to finish... --An untitled and rather piecemeal version of November 1, 1981, splicing Peter's, Sirius's, and Remus's reactions to what happened the night before into the hours of one day --The Narnia 1-Word Challenge List. There are 45 words on the list, and I've only written a few of them. Long way to go before the end! And lastly: For Narnia, and for Aslan. Always. |
